Pretty sure you have to quite the hair trigger to be annoyed by the almost non existent delay caused by VAR in this game.

If you are going to have any sort of consistency with VAR its there to protect against the hoooge howlers/cheating that I identified above.

FWIW that is the official policy at this WC.

So what was the likely dialogue between ref and var there? 'Was there an obvious foul I have to have a second look at?'

Seems like in that case there is still gonna be inconsistency depending on who is the var.

To be clear I have hated how VAR has been implemented in the EPL, compared to that this WCs implementation SO FAR is pure harmony and light.
