The way I understand it, every play is constantly being reviewed. It also needs to be a clear and obvious error. I guess if you're being charitable it was quite close.

If the foul had been for a penalty instead of a free kick it could be reviewed. And if it had been reviewed there is no chance it would have been overturned.

Looked like it was pretty obvious it was in an offside position. Who knows how the rule reads these days. Prob some weird underwriting where since it was an OG the offside dude who made Mandzukic play it is immune to offside or something

How is France so good at team sports when they're such dicks to everyone including each other?

I was just traveling in Mexico and Central America for 6 months. The only group who gave Americans a run for their money on being arrogant and not even attempting to speak the language were the French.
