As promised, official website's game is up and running and it's time for some fantasy footy.

Short notice sure but plenty enough to get a good old fantasy league going.

For those unfamiliar with Fantasy Football, it is is pretty simple. Pick players in your team on a budget and get points for their performances. Try to finish with more points than your opponents --> profit.

This year, we will be playing the FIFA Mcdonald's official fantasy game. I have had a look at the scoring system (which was the big flaw last WC) and everything seems to be normal, it's pretty much the FPL we are used to as far as scoring goes. Interface is very user-friendly, should be good.

The full rules regarding scoring, ranking, transfers, etc.. can be found here. I will just highlight the scoring system here to make it more accessible, rest of the rules is on you to assimilate and decide strategy.
Make sure you get yourself acquainted with those rules (there should not be much surprise, it's pretty straightforward if you are used to FPL).

We will be running a 20€ league. I will accept Paypal (please send in €) and even Pokerstars (same username). If one of these options really does not suit you, let's try to work something out with other posters, the more runners the better.

Out of those 20€, 5€ will be held for a winner-take-all that will go to the leader after the group stage is finished. The remaining 15€ to the prizepool that will be paid out on final tournament finishing position. I think this is a good compromise.

PM me for my paypal or send ahead if you already have it and once payment is confirmed/received, I will give you the link to join the league. I've held funds for this couple years ago for the Euros and everything went smooth (was lucky to not be super busy).
