short report this week because I am superbusy with yacht picking activities and other matters.
this is the year on year percentage gain of Berkshire Hathaway, which contains 99% of genius megabillionaire Warren Buffet's investment activities
Berkshire's average gain over the years is
18.7%. doesn't sound like all that much, but if you can make 18.7% every year for 60 years you'll turn 8 million quid into 300 billion like Warren did
--
after 5 weeks of investment activity, the fat & blokes have produced the following results
this works out to be a 53.6% gain over 5 weeks, or
557.2% non-compounded annualised return
18.7% vs 557.2%. i will not insult your intelligence by spelling out the implications
on to this week's opportunities,
Quote:
Bournemouth v Sheffield United over 3.5 goals
Currently 15/8 on the investfair sportsbook and greater than 2/1 on the investfair exchange, I think this is worth the shot for these reasons:
1) A lot of Bournemouth's matches towards the end of last season appeared to be quite high scoring, with a 5-3 defeat to Palace, 3-3 draw against Soton and 5-0 win against Brighton in their last five league games. Bournemouth have made no major changed to their defence that makes me think they'll be in any way tighter at the back
2) Chris Wilder does not do bus parking, and will not sit back to try to nick a point, which may play in to Bournemouth's playing style and allow us to get caught on the break given our incredibly aggressive strategy - while we didn't concede a goal on the counter all season last year, against Premier League strikeforces it may see us caught out early
3) David Brooks went to them from us in a record outgoing transfer, and is surely a lock to score against his old club because narratives
4) Lys Mousset went to us from them in a record incoming transfer literally today, and is surely a lock to score against his old club because narratives

Fortnite is still one of the biggest games in the world and Bizzle is one of the most consistent performers when it comes to the LAN events. Here are his results:
2018 solo summer skirmish: 2nd
2018 duos fall skirmish: 4th
2019 solo secret skirmish: 1st
If you weren't aware Fortnite is a 100 player battle royale so to finish that high consistently is amazing. He also has tons of high placements in online only tournaments but every gamer knows LAN is a different animal. And in the World Cup he will be playing against literal children who have never faced this kind of pressure before.
He is 16/1 to win it all which seems juicy but there is a massive amount of RNG in this game so I feel like top 3 is the better play.

Let's see if this one actually races:
Cheval Grand e/w @ 25/1
OR (if Cheval Grand is withdrawn as well) Waldgeist e/w @20/1
Maybe it would be better just to do the Enable to win @ 4/6 but that's boring, we need to choose a horse for e/w as well.
I'm pretty sure Betfair does Best Odds Guaranteed so if this one does get actioned then can just put the bet on the raceday and they will pay out on the best odds. One of those 2 horses surely is going to race, all of them can't keep getting withdrawn.

A: analysis of football, koreans, and most of all the fats
imo the smart move is to combine these areas of expertise wherever possible
its extremely hard to find fat footballers, and it's also hard to find koreans of size. however,
note the excellent specimen third from right. he's in the foreground in every picture i could find which probably means he's the team captain
our big lad and his inferior team mates face some unknown skinny dumbasses at 10am on saturday. we are heavy faves for reasons which do not require explanation. our return on capital aint great, but free money is free money
oh and by the way our team is called ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP

I propose the syndicate has an entry in a Last Man Standing competition run by Lost Ostrich and I. Costs €10 in and the winner usually ships about €1300. For those unfamiliar with the game all you do is pick a team to win in the Premier League once a week. If they win you're in if they don't you're out. Last man standing scoops the gold, can't pick the same team twice. Pick to be determined by way of a simple poll once a week.
This investment has the potential for plenty of lols along the way, we've had such gems as;
Someone picking Fulham away at Stoke when Stoke had the longest unbeaten home record in English football and Fulham hadn't won away in a year.
Someone losing the whole thing to a 94th minute Crouch header after refusing to hedge Newcastle at home to Stoke.
Lost Ostrich picking Everton and being knocked out 47 times.
If the entry goes deep in the competition then anyone else from the syndicate still in the LMS won't be able to vote. Maximum duration of investment somewhere around 1-3 months
