The League matches so far definitely aren't as big a deal as the Euro finals but if we reached next June's finals I think it would be a pretty big deal. Unfortunately the Nations League matches are on cable TV (as opposed to World Cup/Euros) so it won't get as much viewership but if we reached the final of the competition I think it would be as big a deal as a World Cup quarter final or maybe World Cup semi?

Winning the tournament would mean we went 2-1-1 against Spain & Croatia and then beat two out of like France/Belgium/Portugal, all at full strength (I presume Cristiano Ronaldo plays in the finals unless he's just persona non grata because of the rape thing). It's no joke.

tl/dr prestige is in the eye of the beholder: World Cup ends The Hurt, Euros ends The Hurt for most, Nations League is in the middle - bigger than Le Tournoi but below The Euros.
