Denver has the biggest home court advantage in the NBA as well, they are a good team. Jokic is legit special
Their win profile is just nuts, too. I have tried to temper my excitement because they are hurt right now and a 4 game losing streak could easily be around the corner, but just look at some of these accomplishments.
- 12-4 against the West
- 8-6 on the road, best mark in the best against a TOUGH road schedule, with wins @TOR, @OKC, @LAC, and @ POR
- 11-4 against teams >.500, most wins ITL and best win %.
- #1 PD in the West despite the 9th toughest overall SOS per BBref
- 5-0 in their division, which is supposed to be the toughest
- Most games lost due to injury in the league
- Currently have tiebreakers on LAC/POR/OKC/GSW/UTAH/SAC/TOR/BOS tied with LAL - and MEM
- Only down in tiebreaks to HOU (0-1) and MIL (0-2)
- Have not lost by more than 10 points all season
- Have not trailed by 20 points all season
If it were a team like Golden State or Boston I'd be like "yeah they are elite, that's what their win profile should look like".. The fact that it's happening to my team, the second-youngest team ITL, has me in disbelief. It's been extremely enjoyable, but I'm nervous that they are going to lose by 50 the next game just because things have gone so well for them, and I just feel like it's too much too soon.
