9th of 11 on the road in a trip where you went From Denver-Portland--Toronto--Orlando--down 3 starters, then Justin Anderson intentionally kicks Jamal in right where he's already been injured?

That's about as disastrous as a road trip where you won the first three games. Jokic is the only starter they have playing now.

So I was looking back over previous #1 picks, saw Bennett, had my usual giggle, and it reminded me that Oladipo was who they were supposed to pick. Would Kyrie - Oladipo - LBJ - Love - TT have had a chance at all against the warriors?

No. Also Lebron trades Vic 3-6 months after saying in a letter that he hopes to help him elevate his game.

They were gonna win the lottery again the next year to trade for Love?

The thing that makes the Warriors so brilliant is that Curry and Draymond are so easy to build around that you can plug in pretty much any top tier talent around them and they'll be a juggernaut. Victor would be "not enough help" for Lebron (especially with Kyrie), but be pretty incredible on the Warriors.

If you're trying to build the best team using any players in the NBA, but can only have 1 of Steph or Lebron, I'm pretty confident Steph is the play.

That's been discussed a bunch before and I think it's pretty uncontroversial. I'd even take it further and just say Curry is the better pick of you're trying to ring or bust. Take a million randomly generated LeBron teams and a million randomly generated Curry teams, and the LeBron teams would be better on average, but I think in today's stacked NBA and how hard it is to ring, the Curry teams would win more rings.

How hard is it to build around Embiid/Simmons? If you could have added a top 30 player to the Sixers instead of Jimmy Butler, how many of those players would have made you question the fit?

I'm not convinced that Embiid/Simmons is a workable championship core unless they can find a couple of wings who are better shooters than JJ Redick.

It is amazing to think that the sixers have arguably two top 10 players, another in the top 30 or so, and still need ANOTHER top 10 player to even have a chance to win a title. Warriors are just so crazy good.

By winning three of their last four games by 28 points or more, Boston has zoomed up to 11th in offensive rating, according to basketball-reference.com. In their next five games, they've got home games against the Suns and Hawks and a visit to the DC Dumpster Fires, so that ranking should go up. The Celtics were embarrassed by having to go to overtime to win in Phoenix and might be looking to prove something when the Suns come to town.

It's kind of funny that 75% of the Suns' wins have come against teams currently with a winning record. One of those victims is Milwaukee and I still have a certain amount of skepticism about the Bucks. They are good, but I'm not sure I see them as a threat to Boston and Toronto in a seven-game series. If I were Milwaukee, I'd consider the idea of keeping Hill and trading Bledsoe for another star. Unfortunately, they've locked up their future firsts in cleaning up John Hammond's mistakes.

I'd suggest something like Bledsoe, Tony Snell, and Thon Maker to Washington for Bradley Beal and Kelly Oubre, but it would take some draft considerations to make it happen. Maker can be the athletic center that Wall wants to play with, Snell can be a low-usage wing who has no problems letting Wall hog the ball, the Wizards won't have to think about overpaying Oubre, and Wall can just as easily be a lazy defender against SGs as he is against PGs when they go with a two-PG lineup.

Boston's offensive flow has improved since Stevens revamped the diffusion of talent - the ball is hitting players on the move instead of just reversing to stationary perimeter targets. They're playing in rhythm with greater force, improved movement and getting downhill while hitting the paint with more kick, lob or shoot options. The small sample size uptick has been against weak opponents.

No Luka haters are either just anti whitey or refuse to understand the amount of big game experience Luka brings into the nba as a 19 year old is unprecedented. Nobody is making the comparisons you claim. That is you trying to cover your indefensible take.
