It was the 04 Aussie Open. Roddick was the 1 seed coming off his win at the 03 US Open. He got bounced in the quarters and Fed basically rolled to an easy win

No way he was just saying off sport stuff affects you mentally. Don't think he has any inkling of an actual direct comparison just that Djokos head is not in the game due to off court stuff.
