NFL being trash isn't exactly news as it's been concentrated super AIDS for a while now.

Truthfully the +18.5 with Scandrick hurt was sharp. Everything before was putrid.

It's like betting on your golf game with multiple presses going: only the final hole matters!

So instead of the Blitz with theme music, now we just get SVP doing SVP? Boooo

If ESPN had just left the original NFL Primetime alone, I would still be watching it. All their problems are their own damn fault because they cannibalize so many good shows trying to prop up Sportscenter.

Did well. Without looking his YPC prob won't wow anyone but he was definitely grinding against a lot of defenders up front. For a guy who sat out most of preseason and playing his 1st NFL game it's pretty much impossible to take anything away from him. Didn't look at him in protection or anything but he definitely has some power to him.

Didnt watch much of that game, but with his 30 touches, I'm betting the wheels fall off pretty fast for him.

Thanks

Didn't know he missed the preseason, also read he had 20 touches in the first half, so 30 total for a road blowout I like the assessments. He grinded a win vs a top d line and is apparently still playing in the sec

Thought he was more nfl ready than elite, but I guess either can be do star production. Liking all the good young rushers to balance out the passing

I'm late but that was the worst slate of NFL football I've ever seen.

What a world we live in where the Bill, Jaguars, and Rams are all alone in 1st place of their respective divisions.

Ya. Did anybody win because they played well? There are so many bad teams.

This was the first NFL Sunday in a while I've had something going on and missed the early games, then fell asleep during the second half of the late games and woke up in time for the Giants game, which was a poor choice. NFL needs to start rigging things in favor of the offense more imo, defenses have caught up

I watched RedZone for the first half of the early games, went to the Lions bar for the 2nd half of that, then went to the beach and played volleyball during the late games. Do not regret my decision at all.

Defenses get the better of offenses for a day, confirmed worst thing ever.

If you wanna watch the NFL slowly become the pac12, there will be many more weeks this year for that to happen I'm sure.

I don't think the NFL is getting worse at all, I think modern attention spans just really isn't built for viewing football.

I don't think you can really blame the choice of Giants/Cowboys in a vacuum. Both teams are usually a massive **** show and deliver lols on a regular basis.

Re: Defenses catching up.

I think there might be some truth to that if everyone is healthy. But let's face it, in 6 weeks half these defenses are going to be down to their 2nd and 3rd stringers at key positions and then QB's are gonna be flinging the ball all over the field again.

Gotta think teams sit their offensive stars a ton in the preseason and it makes a difference

I think the biggest difference is OL continuity. Seems like a position where chemistry is needed more than the other positions.

I saw a lot of OL's just getting flat out schooled yesterday.

I think OL need a lot more communication and time together than the D. This new concept of "let's see who can play their actual team the least in preseason"
is likely hurting OL quite a lot.

Yeah, feels like there is more injuries than ever though and teams just don't wanna risk losing key guys in preseason games.
