Fun aside - This reminds me of the time I got threatened with a shotgun.

I was in an horrendous dive bar in central Wisconsin one new year's eve, and some random started talking to me, topic came up of football for a while. Was asked about a particular player (can't remember who), I said "decent but has the first touch of a rapist".

The barman didn't like this one bit, shouted at me and was very clear to confirm the existence of a shotgun behind the bar.

Inital thought was to reason with him. Secondary and almost immediately dominant thought was to go "sorry missus patterson" repeatedly a la Kevin and Perry.

If Lukaku does go to Chelsea and Costa moves on, it'll be interesting to see how big an effect that has on Hazard's game. Hazard loves that close space give and go stuff with Costa. Lukaku's improved a lot with his back to goal but more so to engineer opportunities for himself imo. I'm not convinced he's got the sharp minded one touch in tight spaces game down yet.

Would rather we gave all the minutes to RashGOAT and let him develop into the beast he's gonna be. Definitely have Lukaku than Morata though ainec.

I should have listened to you all and not gotten too into the transfer speculation. After the silva signing I've been heavily disappointed. Sam lee had his check in and was spunking all over these "done deals" and they're gonna go like 2/5 on them lol

And that's assuming Ederson actually signs

And if we had gotten all 6 pts from stoke and had beaten Burnley, Hull, Bournemouth, Everton, West Brom, and Swansea were sitting on 85 pts and comfortably in 3rd. If Lukaku made and can make that kind of difference, he'd easily be worth the money spent on him.

That said, I would rather us buy a backup and let Martial and Rashford play more and develop. The money that would be spent on Lukaku could land a stud CB or stud DCM that would benefit the team much more.
