This will be a step forward for ox. I don't think he is so loyal to Arsenal to stay.

Paulinho? Spurs legend Paulinho? Barcelona in full meltdown. Coutinho begging Klopp for a second chance right now.

I was wondering if we might show some interest in Ox if (it's really when imo) Dembele leaves. I still think we'd be fine (as in CL spot, decent showing in CL and cup) without getting a direct Dembele replacement. Would rather see us invest some of that money in left back/right back.

The Plop boom/bust cycle is quite similar to the thisishisseason cycle

Paulinho to Barcelona is one of the more ridiculous things I've ever seen. And I've seen Grey Worm appear to be good at oral sex the first time he ever tried it.

Next up, Spurs sign Martial somehow.

spuds fans have a bluddy cheek taking the piss out of paulinho after all the sandro/paulinho/capoue = potential best midfield in the league posts we had to endure back in the day

or possibly its talk****e making things up

We've all made mistakes. I thought Jamie O'Hara, Rohan Ricketts and Neale Fenn would all make it.

To be fair, it was Sandro/Paulinho/Dembele.

Sandro never recovered from being knee-capped, Paulinho was signed by Barcelona to replace Neymar, and Dembele is probably the best midfielder ITL.

Capoue was a whoscored god, I had to bring excited spuds fan the news that he was meh, I warned them about Njie too iirc.

Crashing spuds parties is always good times

8bus still reading the rumors on thesun and others is hilarious.

If Chelsea give £35 or 40m for Ox I think it's a sell. If he doesn't want to stay, he's never had a good season. He might never get the right consistency/decision making here. Would be sad to see him go, but his versatility is his only positive. As an attacker he's worse than sanchez/lacazette/welbeck/theo/iwobi as wide attackers, as a CM he's worse than basically everyone, as a wing back he's ok I guess?

can you really be considered versatile if you play multiple positions but aren't very good at any of them?

and Wenger agreeing to sell him to Chelsea is kind of a sign that he'll probably never reach his potential

I would gladly agree for 30mill even. I think he would be a rotation wingback behind Bellerin and Hulkosinac in the current system. Even if one of them gets injured Monreal can switch or Niles can jump in.
As for regular playing time, i think he can play a bit as a wide attacker for Chelsea. Dont think he would feature much at CM

Lol @30-40M if true. Let's be honest, if Ox wasn't english, he'd be loaned in the championship or in the eredivisie right now

Yep but he can DRIBBLE, There were several people here that thought he beasted against Leicester because he fakhin ran around, his decision making is awful and for 30m it's a snap

This should be known as the John O'Shea paradox.

I agree with all this. I like Ox, but 35m for a 24 year old in the last year of his contract who I still have no idea what his best position is is a sell.

I wonder if it went through, who (if anyone) would be his replacement.

GoT Spoiler

Spoiler:
That scene being directly before Jorah Mormont having all that pus-filled greyscale ripped off made it really hard to crack one off. Powered through though.
