There was also supposed to be another announcement on Monday or tomorrow but folks weren't sure if it was mendy or Ederson.

45M seems way too much. Benfica only has 50% of Ederson, so they might be pushing the fee up because of that.
He will be world class though, and his delivery his superb, not only on short passes, but also long and fast passes to start counter attacks.
I think he actually ended the season with 1 assist.

Actually I really don't think it will.
I think he will find a way to make it work with Sane and Jesus running behing defenders.
Or at least it will make teams stay a bit deeper when he has the ball to prevent that from happening, making it easier to play from the back.

It was reported a couple of days ago that Madrid and City both launched 130m offers at mbappe. Supposedly subsequently declined from Monaco.

L'equipe - a French journal/magazine (from what I am gathering, having to translate) is confirming the offer today - from MC at least in the range of 120. Assume Monaco did indeed decline it.

130M euros, right? That's what's being reported around here, makes sense considering they sold Bernardo Silva for anything from 50 to 70M depending on the source.
