They were always going to spend 200m+ this summer considering this season's performance and all the players they're letting go. It's a bit annoying if they're going to be signing such quality and be so quick and efficient about it though. Was hoping for some Chygrynskiy/Stones type transfers from Pep.

Keane would be a very meh signing, but I doubt we're actually in for him, or at least that he's our #1 CB target. Even if we're letting a lot of brave englishmen go this summer, I don't think we're in trouble wrt the homegrown quota, so I don't really see why we'd settle for him over better alternatives.

I'm pretty sure rulli belongs to sociedad but city have a buy back option of some sort. Haven't heard anything about him recently tho so assume that ship has sailed

It worked though - commit GBH, have the oppo's striker subbed off and get a goal kick whilst denying an almost certain goal.

Griezmann almost certainly our first choice for 10 this summer but imagine Silva was on the list if it wasn't possible. Wouldn't be surprised if we were in for Mendy after the awful season Shaw has had but CM/CB more of a priority.
