PSG £119 for Mbappe. Mbappe and Messi together make it happen.

Liverpool were far too busy congratulating themselves at convincing Virgil Van Dijk to join the Reds to actually submit a bid
Gonna be pissed if he ends up at Chelsea now, still Mbappe should ease the pain.

Lol yes pool probably super live to get mbappe

135M euro bid out is just dumb. Getting absurd at this point

I'd be shocked if half the reported bids were true. No way pool can afford a 200m+ spending spree this summer.

If he becomes as good as Henry alone it's well worth the price but there is no guarantee. He still has to improve. He is only 18 years old. No one can predict future quality that accurately. He could peak at 19, it happens all the time. But then Real Madrid just paid £40m for a 16 year old who hasn't played at senior level at all. It's a crazy world we live in.

wat

Of course they can, they're owned by FSG and are top 10 in the world money league.

Well, an outlay of £200m+ would definitely increase their wages by more than allowed by the PL in a single season. Pool are clearly done in attack for the upcoming year, they might add a CB/FB.

The Red Sox salary has only gone up by about 15% over the last 5 years, which is less than one David Price. They've splurged, but it hasn't been incredible like spending over £100m+top wages on a player would be.

Lacazette seems increasingly more likely for Arsenal and that's very underwhelming.

I don't know what place Theo has left in the team.

They'll simply need to sell someone useless (from klopps pov) like sturridge, someone daft like West Ham's board (sorry hammers fans) in order to increase the wage bill increase and stay within the rules.

Plop can easily go out and spend £200m in one summer, bare in mind most are paid over a few years.

Well, I meant 200m without significant sales. As in net spend.

Well they're gonna potentially get 50m for Alexis

City have received 20m in line so far with nacho nolito hart and sagna to go still. Hopefully they can get another 35-45m

Random musings:

Pretty sure Alexis will leave, as I've thought for the last ~3 months. I think Ozil will sign a new deal because no one else really needs a #10. I think with Pool signing Salah they aren't looking at Ox anymore so he will sign as well.

But, we have had rumors of Alexis, Ozil, Ox, Giroud, Theo, Lucas, Ospina, Wilshere, Sczeczny, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Debuchy all leaving. The last five are basically confirmed, they're not wanted and won't play.

Rumors of players we're interested in have been: Mbappe, Lacazette, Lemar.

I like the way this Liverpool team is constructed. Very few players who could play for better teams, but everyone is quick, skilled and can play a bunch of different positions among the AM roles.

Who will buy low on Barkley? Who wants to waste some money on Wilshere?

Why all the wait for Chelsea to get Lukaku? Don't understand what's holding it up.

The worst thing to happen for Arsenal would be for Madrid to get Mbappe and United sign Bale or someone other than Morata.

You're not getting 30+ for nacho, nolito, hart, sagna.

Does anyone even want Mahrez? I'm ok with plan B being Mahrez/Lacazette, but that's pretty underwhelming compared to Mbappe.

Whoops no. Mangala I meant. City are apparently asking 20m euro for him (LOL)

Ao,

The asking price for nacho is 25m so with all the other players on the table it's a mortal lock they recoup an additional 30m between them all

Leicester now linked with him and spam still as well

Mangala seems perfect for Newcastle. Rob them imo.

Yeah Di Marzio reporting it, a week after the entire british media was seemingly briefed about our non-interest in him. He's one of the more reliable journos so hopefully there's something in this.

Lol yeah literally just read that a couple of minutes ago and they're saying that he and Peps relationship isn't in a good spot because of young JESUS

Giving this one <5% chance of being real. 60m seems low he just turned 29

ETA: so about 68 euro. Meh.

Pep is great. Lets sell the best player in the league after his most prolific season.

Who actually did adjust to playing the way Pep wants.

I don't think he will go though, PSG might offer a massive wages but he'll get that at City anyway and have better champions league equity + playing in the EPL during his prime years, then he can retire in France (or china etc) for a few years.

Apparently we're in for Amine Harit from Nantes. Young and French sounds good but scouting the L'Équipe comment section I'm not so sure.
