Yeah, MVP is a regular season award, but if you were voting and on the fence between Altuve and Judge, there is no ****ing way your vote shouldnt be swayed.

Yanks best hitters hitting 2nd and 4th seems good. Though judging by Eddy's posts itt seems like he'd prefer a better bunter in the two hole.

Judge is like the modern Jim Thome.

Hitting your best hitter 2nd is optimal, although very few teams do it. Highest OBP on team with a bunch of power in front of lower obp/high slugging guys like Sanchez/Didi/Bird makes perfect sense

or maybe a spot where he is more likely to see pitches he can hit. Which right now aren't many.

Thome is a HOFer, Judge will be working construction in a few years. Also Judge has already shattered Thomes career high in strikeouts.

I know sometimes we like to think of these guys as robots, but when a guy is struggling, dropping him down to the 5 or 6 spot does take some pressure off of him.
