I'm trying to think if cricket is high or low variance as far as sports go. My heart says low variance (in a test match a terrible team basically never beats a very good team), but there's all sorts of nicks that come of the bat that either carry to a fielder or don't etc.
Playoff baseball is so intense. Such a long drawn out regular season and then BOSH in October almost every pitch can be hugely consequential.
People say that Hockey playoffs are the best but seeing as how I don't watch hockey I wouldn't know.
Only thing that surpasses it here is March Madness imo
