Good thing for NY is that its october and some of their players and that org are used to winning big games and world series championships in october. should be a good one.
I really think game 1 is going to be way way more important than it should be, if NY can steal one with gray on the mound, that would speak volumes to how the series will go.
This si hte matchup HOU and their fans wanted, but as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.
Something about Yankee magic swirling around this team, I favor the team that was championship pedigree and has world class players and World Series champs on its roster, A team that is playing not for the moment, not for the money or fame, but for EACH OTHER. Start spreading the news.
Too bad bumbling Joe decided to throw our best arm in G1. Tanaka is going now, and if we lose a 1-0 or 2-1 game it will be absolutely unforgivable. I'd rather get a huge advantage in games 2 and 3, but nope. I'm not worried about Morton or Peacock or McCullers. Verlander has had his October troubles, and Keuchel I think has never allowed a run to the Yankees.
