Always been super low on him but I have to say he showed up in the playoffs last year and managed to make me think better of him on O while thinking much less of John Wall's defense
I have about 18M left to spend, and I think my biggest needs are a backup big, defense, and maybe some creation.
The following guy qualifies for 2.5/3 of what I'm looking for. His defensive metrics are very good despite what looks like eye-test failures in the PnR. He was the starting center for the 2nd/3rd best team in the NBA the last two years, and when asked about coming in to back up a 22 year old second rounder his reaction was:
Spoiler:
Final team:
Jamal Murray
Josh Richardson
Danilo Gallinari
Paul Millsap
Nikola Jokic
Yeah no biggie. We're basically done. I do like the kyrie Embiid team as it sits put together. Though Kyrie, Jrue, EG at 1/2/3 to start seems a little small, prone to mismatches.
RT, are you still simming a season of 2k out of this? Should download the current rosters, there's one that's updated every day.

Defrozan at SF could have made an epic FT drawing team (and you know they're not on 3s - so a ton of attacking the basket)
1 Joel Embiid C-F PHI 786 244 11.18 0.783
2 Russell Westbrook PG OKC 2,802 840 10.79 0.845
3 James Harden G HOU 2,947 881 10.76 0.847
4 DeMarcus Cousins C-F NO 1,891 549 10.45 0.77
5 Isaiah Thomas PG BOS 2,569 649 9.09 0.909
6 DeMar DeRozan G-F TOR 2,620 647 8.89 0.842
Mike Conley
James Harden
Mo Harkless
Larry Nance, Jr.
Willy Hernangomez
David West
Kyle O'Quinn
Troy Daniels
The beauty of a Harden/Conley team is, with staggering, I can ensure they play the first 8 and last 6 minutes together, and one is on the floor at all times. I consider Harden a top-3 playmaker (arguably #1), and Conley is in the top 5-7 in terms of offensive signal-callers.
Therefore, I didn't need to worry about finding anyone who had to be a creator of offense with the ball. That said, I drafted players in Harkless, Daniels, and West who all thrive off the ball and can shoot well to very well from the perimeter to give my ball-handlers room to operate. I added Willy for a credible PnR roll threat, O'Quinn for rim protection, and Nance, Jr. as simply a high energy, high athleticism switchblade to crash the glass on vacated space drives by my guards and help do all the small things to win games.
