Yeah and I thought it would be good for the facemelt factor as well as lolworthy teams that could be constructed.

I take back what I said about KD being the easiest first pick ever. Didn't realize the difference of salary between him and kiwi was this large. Still think he's quite ahead of kiwi though and would still pick him but it's close

#1 easy KD, #2 best pick still not taken LOL (GET SNIPED TWIG)

actually I've done no number crunching on cap vs salaries. Just assuming players who vastly outperform their maxes are much more important than low cap players

adding a 3pt shot, more rbs and assists in his 14th year is unheard of.
add the fact that he never gets injured.

Yeah I thought KD was clear as well then saw Kawhi, who I legit thought made 30M... I think you flip a coin with those two.

i think you should probably be able to fill out your roster with pure minimums above 80m. no one wants to do all that math. your starting 5 has to fit within 80m, after that i think it's reasonable to be able to just pick up a random guy to fill it out

i don't even like jokic but he was my #1 too. $1milly just too cheap.

and agreed that this is so much more fun than 5-year dynasty

1. Kawhi 2. Durant 3. Labron on my board (really really close). Don't need to go all the way down to 1m to get savings...33 vs 25 vs 18 is significant

Nah I say you have to make it all fit. If we're only doing 8-man teams (right?) then all 8 should have to fit under the cap. A 3-man bench is still relevant and important

OR just fill in min numbers like they do in the nba from the end of ppls roster so they know the functional numbers-- and then all mins (rookies, vets, etc). count as the same min

ok but can we at least make them all just be "minimum?"

im not sure i follow. do you mean once you hit 80m you can sign any min players (like in the nba)? i think this makes the most sense rather than having to do annoying math a few picks out (tho im obv bias considering i just broke the bank)

What is the argument in favor of Durant over Kawhi in this? Durant is significantly cheaper, was as good or better last year, and is at an age where its not unreasonable to expect another jump next year(whereas Durant is most likely already at his peak)
