Crystal Palace got off to a rousing start, losing 3-0 @ home to Huddersfield. They followed that up with a more competitive, but still eventually futile effort against Liverpool on the road, losing 1-0.

Needless to say, they are NOT a correct answer to this question.

In other very wrong pick news...

Newcastle kicked off their 2017-2018 season @ home against Totinhand Warmpotatoes on Sunday the 12th. They lost 2-0 after Shelveying. They followed that up by also failing @ Huddersfield on Sunday the 19th by the score of 1-0.

On the bright side, they are still undefeated on Saturday.

With games at home against Burnley, & on the road at Spurs, it is not entirely shocking that Chelsea started their season with 1 win & 1 loss. Losing to Burnley 3-2 & then beating Spurs 2-1 is a bit more surprising. Since they always score 2 goals, I've noticed the key is to hold their opponents below 2 goals. Yw Chelsea.

Got off to a good start by beating Newcastle 2-0 on the road, & were looking good for a point & a correct answer against Chelsea until they freed the Marcus Alonso for the 2nd time, leading to a 2-1 loss.

By far the easiest qualifying team, ManU followed up a 4-0 home victory over Ham with a 4-0 road victory over Swans. Good enough for #1 in table (by 4 goals).
