Every 10+ Grand Slam winners except Nadal played during a few years of incredibly lol opponents, that includes Federer and Sampras

Nadal clearly had to fight the best opponents his whole carreer, Federer had a a few year where Nadal couldn't win on hard courts and his most fearsome opponents were Roddick and Safin

Novak has won 11 slams, during the era of Roger, Rafa and Murray.

Rafa is 4-3 against him in slam finals too, although he's 3-1 up against Roger and is 4-2 up against Murray.

Hardly an lol opponents.

Borg the same with Connors, McEnroe, Lendl etc

You can't have it one with Rafa and not the same with Roger and Novak.

Well he consistently lost during peak Roger and partly peak Rafa. Then he started to succeed and they started to fall off.

And he's the only one of them to lose a final to Murray!!!

Anyone ever watch McEnroe play in these exhibition events with Courier, Roddick, Blake and those guys? They are on tv sometimes I'm pretty sure they come to my city every year. Guy is still a G for his age.

Yup, remember watching some highlights of McEnroe yelling at umps, lines people, etc. thinking it was a schtick but no, it was genuine anger.

Wasn't it him that served it at Paes or something in either an exhibition or legends match?

I want to see GOATBis go deep again. He'd still be in the top 10 if he gave a **** about tennis. Guys like him, Kyrgios and del Potro are going to be included in the long list of "what could have been" players (for different reasons of course).

In the case of del Potro, injuries prevented him from possibly turning the Big Four into the Big Five.
