Could anyone be worse than LSU fans? Some of the most disturbing fan behavior I've seen is from LSU fans. Some of the MOST VIOLENT fan behavior against fans of another team has been from PARENTS of LSU PLAYERS.

A lot of LSU fans are just having a good time. A lot of them are drunk, and most people are fun when they're drunk, but some people are mean *******s when they're drunk. And the LSU drunk ******* fans seem to be even bigger *******s than the "regular" ******* drunk fan.

Never knew AJ was a chick, hm.

There's a reason anyone in the midwest can hear "Chicago girl" or "Chicago ass" and know immediately what it means.

On the subject of biggest ******* fans, I have to go against the SEC here and saythat, this year, UK fans were the absolute worst. For the first time in forever, their football team was decent, and it's like the assumed superiority of their basketball team zoomed right over to apply to the football team. Cheering when opposing players got hurt, booing when opposing players got up after an injury, shouting obscenities at girls in the stands... I've never seen behavior as bad as that out of UK fans this year in 8 years of SEC ball, and considering I never heard a peep out of UK fans when their team was at the bottom, that's gross.

RDH - do you go to UK? I can assure you our fans are nowhere near what you describe. Zomg but we rush the field!!!!!!! Please cite instances for this behavior occurring.

pvn - I have witnessed LSU losing twice as the away team in huge games ('06 UF and '07 UK) and I came away amazed at how classy in defeat they were. After the UK loss I was approached by several fans who complimented our team and told us how well we played, and that they would be rooting for us the rest of the year.

If you've ever been to college gameday you'll notice a net up behind the stage. That net was installed after a trip to Baton Rouge when Corso picked LSU's opponent and an LSU fan chucked a golf ball at his head.

I don't condone this kind of behavior but this made me laugh.

I was in Baton Rouge for the 2002 Alabama game. After the game I was in the parent's parking lot (my brother-in-law was on the team) enjoying some post-game tailgating. A small group of bama fans walked by, and one of the parents started yelling some pretty obscene but reletively mundane stuff at the group, then when he didn't get a reaction, kicked it up into some specific comments at the girls in the group. One of them took the bait; she turned around and yelled "you're just mad because you LOST, thirty-one to zero, BITCH!!!" The guy chucked a FULL beer can at her, hit her square in the chest, and dropped her like a rock. Then he laughed.

This is a PARENT of one of the players. Stay classy.

I think most SEC fans have probably had an individual incident that slants their view on opposing fans (like my Dad leaving the Auburn-Georgia game and an UGA fan yelling "**** you old man!" LOL) but in general, nobody beats LSU. They are notorious. There have been multiple incidents that the university has had to apologize for. I even saw an email once sent out before a game asking fans to behave as a preemptive measure.

but i'm sure all alabama fans always gracefully take defeats like little saints.

this, however, if true, is pretty ****ed up, and i'd break ranks and hit somebody with my trumpet were i ever to see this.
