This is set up for another of those final rounds in a major where the 3rd rounder leader no one's ever heard of goes back to the invisible man by the back nine.

But i'm pulling for Wolff!

I thought he should be like 30/1 and saw 80.5/1, so I bet it.

That’s about it.

The tough thing for Wolffe tomorrow won't necessarily be nerves, but avoiding a letdown after having such an amazing round today.

Wolff hit 2 fairways today. 2.

Id be shocked if he played worse. Bryson is a douche to a magnitude that can’t possibly be fully measured. If I lose to him I’m gonna break my tv.

He may have hit 2 fairways but he shot freaking 65 on an impossible course.

And yes, Bryson is a douche and I hope you win your bet.

Where did you see 80? My friend got 33/1 before round 3. Was there a much better price or did you bet earlier?

I bet Wednesday. Took Wolff for 2k 80.5/1. Phil 1k 125/1, and sprinkled a few hundred on Tiger/Finau/Fowler.

Zach Johnson wins and no one is happy except that one guy who very on him may begrudgingly smile.

If Zach wins and then flexes his tiny muscles and thanks his lord and savior during the victory speech it will be epic.

THE most impressive thing about Wolff right now is that he holds 2 of the top6 major rounds ever played at Winged Foot. He's done that in 3 rounds total.

and +1 to bolded.

Wolff is not your normal random 25-35 year old 54 hole leader solid golfer trying to get his first major that fades.

He may falter tomorrow, but it won't be for the lack of talent. He's 21 years old. As a freshman in 2018, he made a putt to clinch the team championship for Okla St. He won the individual 2019 NCAA championship. He T-4 in the PGA Championship in his first major a month ago.

He's got a solid shot at winning this thing. I'm rooting for him.

He turned pro in June, 19, and won his first tournament in July, 19. He beat Morikawa and, funny enough, Bryson by 1 stroke. Bryson was in the second to last group and Wolff was paired with Morikawa in the final group. But he hasn't won since, granted that's really not much time, especially given Covid.

Why do people dislike Bryson and JT so much?

Not sure I'd call his shot solid. Unconventional may be the more appropriate term.

Bryson whines after every shot. When he missed that 2 footer yesterday... “there’s just absolutely no way I hit that ball there, what happened?”

He loves talking about himself. He takes ****ing forever to hit his damn shot.

I used to like him because of how he tries to solve golf using science, I think that cool as ****... but man, you can do it without being a ****ing dipshit.

I'm in the UK and it was funny when he kept talking non-stop as he was planning a shot, and then just after he hit it, and the commentator said that it would be winding him right up if he was playing with him. I never really thought about it but I guess it could get kind of annoying.

He does come across as a huge tool, but I can't help pulling for him as he's great value to watch. He's not in the dame tool category as Patrick Reid though surely? I hope not or I'll feel slightly dirty.

If he falters it was never going to be for lack of talent, but abundance of nerves.
