trying to guess who else. the uk euros are too accustomed to wide links fairways or playing the ground to roll. i'm actually surprised young Collin struggled as much as he did. didn't watch any of his round but seems his type of game can fit this course. also never rule out Rahmbomb from showing up at the end, as well as Xander
It's going to play more this way on the weekend I think

I'm gonna call somewhere around hole 13 of this round as the moment Phil realized, 100% for sure, that it's never, ever, happening again.

I think he mostly knew it. But maybe some small part of him was hoping Winged Foot would rekindle the flame.

I haven't been watching it but seeing the results - why is the course playing so hard today?

was a bit windy, I think, for the early groups. plus this tournament is all about extreme conditions and the winning score being close to par iirc

punitive rough.. slick, narrow fairways.. trees.. the whole schlebangy!

Brendon Todd is in the top 10. That guy is unbelievable.

Reed and Bryson have to be the most unlikable final pairing ever.

I expect Harris English and Rafa Cabrera Bello to eject today.

Hoping Justin Thomas finishes with the lead.

Would also like to see Hideki and Pieters make a run. They are both great players that are overdue to do something big in a major.

Looks like one from the douchey duo :-(. You should always put money on the unlikable players because it softens the blow when they win Like campfire, hoping Matsuyama-san makes a run. Could see a solid plodder like Oosty upsetting the odds and winning the thing maybe.

yesterday only 3 were under par. looking like 0 today with many rounds in the 80s.

If it is so hard I'm still waiting for either Adam Scott or Cameron Smith to make a run

What the hell was that motion by Schauffele? Almost looked like a whiffed putt, but if he had hit it, it would have gone 30 feet. Strange visual.

curious to see how well Wolff holds it together tomorrow, especially when the pressure is turned up (and there will be at least a couple of high pressure situations). no doubt he has the physical game, we'll see how his mental game backs that up.

Where can someone hedge their Wolff to win it all? Asking for a friend. (seriously. I don't hedge)

I'm ashamed to have said this - woeful performances from the Aussies.

Pretty big ask for a player with almost no experience at this level. That being said he knows how to win. I just think he has shown enough physically and mentally so far that he will be a sure contender for a very long time.

I've been leaning into Wolff for a few months now and just saw that we share a birthday... Nice because it's a date fairly devoid of significance lol
