Windows 10 Compatability with Ipoker network? Windows 10 Compatability with Ipoker network?

I'm not too sure this belongs here, so sorry if it doesnt!

Basically, like a fool, i agreed to the free Windows 10 update.

My computer has been fine, never any issues. I play on Net Bet and usually when i load the client i get two windows: the lobby and the log in screen.

Once i go to the log in screen, my details are rememebred and i click log in, and there i am in the lobby. Suddenly, my log in screen is blank so I cant log in, this is easily seen in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/7zfs5o

Can anyone possibly help?

Try this and see if it fixes it:

http://www.stackandtile.com/sat/help/windows-81-fix

I know it says Win8.1 but my guess is that they are doing the same thing in Win10. Watch the video that is linked

Sorry. The first google result says that in Win10, microsoft no longer shows that setting, and instead you need to edit the registry to change it.

http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5...dows-10-a.html

If you don't want to edit the registry, try this instead:

Right-click on the shortcut, then select 'Properties'. Then tab 'Compatibility'. Then click 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' and hit 'Apply'. then restart your application.

Let me know if that works

by the way, if Win10 has some feedback mechanism, you should complain to microsoft that they have removed this checkbox to "Let me choose one scaling level" from the control panel, and now require you to hack the registry to change it

in fact, that link above only edits 1 registry setting, but upon further research, that may not do it.

two other links suggest that _3_ registry settings need to be changed, and even say that Win10 reverts the settings if you have multiple monitors, meaning you'd need to change the settings each time upon startup:

http://forums.mydigitallife.info/thr...caling-problem
https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/c...y_dpi_scaling/

but first try this and let me know:

Ok. Then try this. This worked for a user of mine who was having problems on FullTilt. Follow these instructions:

Do you remember changing that setting in Win 8.1 ?

But in Windows 10, that control panel checkbox is curiously removed for some reason, at least at the moment. Hopefully MS puts it back. I thought changing that other checkbox in the properties for the specific app would fix it, but I guess not. And yes, this would change the scaling level and cause things to look bigger or smaller as you noticed, but that should be changeable in the control panel afterwards.

But, first is getting things working with SaT..

From my research, there is another way to access this in Win 10, but we need to modify the registry, if you want to try.

First, press Win+R and paste this in:

Code:
reg export "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" %HOMEPATH%\regbkup.txt
^That will backup the part of the registry that we will change

Then, again press WIN+R and type in:

Code:
shell:startup
That will open up your startup folder. In there, create a new text file and add these three lines:

Code:
REG ADD "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v DpiScalingVer /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00001018 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v Win8DpiScaling /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001 /f
REG ADD "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v LogPixels /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000078 /f
Name the file "DPI_fix.cmd" and then reboot. Upon startup, those commands should run and change the dpi scaling. Then try including FTP into SaT and see if it works.

Alternatively you could run this tool:
http://windows10_dpi_blurry_fix.xpexplorer.com/

Virustotal says its safe, and I believe it simply runs the same commands as I have shown above. But I rather be safe than sorry, its still a random executable that I prefer not to trust

betfair is/was still not working

here is a fix which worked for some people (netbet and betfair)

open internet explorer 9 -> settings -> compatibility view settings

add

betfair.com and
cashierbetfair.com

or the corresponding urls for other clients (just check which adddress the client is connecting to)

This worked for me aswell on the pre-installed Internet Explorer 11. (running Betfair poker client on Windows 10)

Using Chrome as my standard browser, but seems that betfair is running on Internet Explorer.

To get the cashier to work aswell I had to add:

betfaircashier.com

Instead of cashierbetfair.com
