I'd like to convert stacks into $, using ICM.
I already found those 2:
http://www.icmpoker.com/icmcalculator/
http://www.holdemresources.net/hr/sn...alculator.html
One can calculate for the maximum of 15 players and the other for 20, any calculator that I can use for more than 20 players will be useful.
Thanks in advance.

There is a thread that provides an ICM algorithm for large tournaments. I programmed it in Excel VBA and I'm not a professional programmer. I think it was in the Poker Theory forum by Tysen Streib (sp?)

I saw that topic, but I created this one because it would be easier for me if I find something ready to use.
I will give it a try. If you can send your excel file to tp.correia@gmail.com would be helpful. Thanks.

Is sit n go wizard still relevant? Or do people only use the 2 main resources listed above? sng wiz is a one time purchase as opposed to a monthly fee

Please note that this topic is not about those calculators.
It's about converting stacks to $ using ICM model for larger fields than the online calculators on those links that I posted(just happened to be hosted on ICMIZER and Resources sites).

And Yes. Nowadays everybody only talks about ICMIZER and Resources, I believe SNG WIZ doesn't have the same features as ICMIZER. Even if you compare ICMIZER and Resources they are a bit different. You can take a look at the documentation on their sites and test them out.

Sorry for noticing the thread too late.

The ICM calculator button of the beta version of Cardrunners EV does nearly what you want. Unlike the full version, the beta one is completely free.

The limitation is that you can set only up to 10 different stack size groups and 15 different payout groups, but any number of players and prizes is allowed, just the stack sizes have to be sorted into <=10 groups, and the prizes have to be sorted into <=15 groups.

E.g. you can set up stack sizes as follows:

1000 - 2 times
800 - 3 times
600 - 5 times
400 - 8 times
300 - 12 times
200 - 20 times
100 - 30 times

for a total of 2+3+...+30 = 80 players, and payouts e.g. like this:

$1500 - 1 time
$1000 - 1 time
$700 - 1 time
$500 - 1 time
$300 - 2 times
$200 - 3 times
$150 - 4 times
$100 - 5 times
$70 - 9 times
$50 - 18 times
$30 - 27 times

for a total of 72 places paid. Use approximate stack and prize sizes when the actual sizes are diverse.
