Make sure you check out the Microsoft Natural Mouse 6000. I hadn't seen it before I bought mine. I like mine a lot, but wouldn't mind trying a MS Natural. Dilznoofus says he likes his a lot.

I'm pretty sure PT2 will ignore them, and I'm certain PT3 will update them with the extra info. No idea about Holdem Manager, can't recall reading about how it handles this.

Re: ***Official SW Monthly Thread February*** : LC / OT / Trivial / Easy posts go her
Quick Question...Does anybody know offhand if it is possible to synchronize two virtual machines on different computers? Basically what I want is a single VM to do all my pokering on but be able to use it either on my desktop or laptop and then do some kind of synchronization using an incremental comparison to maintain identical copies on my desktop and laptop. Anybody have any ideas?

The developer of RTHUD joined with HM to integrate it into HM. The new HMHUD is 10x better than RTHUD.

LOL - It's beyond me.
I only know of one other person familiar with VMWare, and he does check this thread once a day or so - hopefully he will reply late tonight when he gets home from work.

No - It's integrated into HM, and not available as an independent HUD, like RTHUD was.
Poker Observer HUD will be beta in a few days, and there are others coming out as well.

hmm...I would still like to know if this is possible but I had another thought and I think that I will end up using remote desktop or an equivalent program and just play on my desktop through my laptop.

Try Teamviewer, but you may get some unwanted lag. GL

certainly possible. Not familiar with VMware myslef (QEMU recently for experiments) - but yeah, it holds everything in a single file (virtual disk) - store this on a shared folder, or copy it back and forth, same VM, different hosts, no worries
There may be daft issues with copy protction on certain apps, hopefully not.

For the BubbleFactor Calc I could use some hh:

Yeah I'm thinking a 16GB USB flash drive that just contains an XP VM and a copy of VMWare server might be just the ticket. Just plug into any computer and go!

Would a larger Ipod work for this too?

I'm not familiar with IPods so I don't know if they can be used as removable storage or not.

I can't believe they're making 16GB flash drives now. Then again my PC has a floppy disk drive and no DVD player, so I might be a little out of touch.

Re: ***Official SW Monthly Thread February*** : LC / OT / Trivial / Easy posts go her
<1 1 year ago I got a usb2.0thumb drive for 40$, recently upgraded to a new 8gb version for $40. I use it as my daily sync/back-up. At that cost I am ready to get a 16gb for my main, and use this 8gb as a redundant sync.

Add a dark gray them to your browser (I use Flock), and this "Global Dark Theme" for Stylish, and it's even better.

You are a 2+2 veteran, so I shouldn't flame you in my usual sarcastic manner.
In that case: You may not be aware of this feature at the new vB forums since the switch in December. I will now show you one of my fav new features of the new forums at 2+2.
[sarcasm]
*Just realized I could have taken the time to number the steps - 1, 2, 3.
