I want to do a fresh Windows install this morning and I'm so confused about backing up my HM database. I obv no nothing about PostgreSQL. Can I just dump my PostgreSQL folder to a network drive and then move it back once I reinstall it? I'm running 8.2 if it matters.

hehe forgot I asked this question. I plan(ed?) on turning off the beeps right when the table comes up and for the louder more alarming warning right before you get timed out I want a Billy Madison clip. The scene where Billy tells the little kid with the glasses to call the hot teacher Veronica and he keeps saying no so Billy yells out "JUST DO IT!!!" So I want that to sound every time I'm about to time out.

You should definitely start by exporting all of your HH from HM to text, and archiving/RAR those text files, in case you need to reimport them, if the sql restore doesnt work. You should also copy your SQL (data) folders. I would copy/backup all of that stuff first, before trying the actual pg_dumpall/pg_restore method. I backup/sync my HM folder (and export HHs), and my SQL folders every day.

i actually knew that, because it has been asked countless times, in the pev thread.

pev beat 0.8 was coded a year or more ago, long before pt3. the new pev, if it ever goes beta, will be competition for pt3, not something you use with pt3.

betpot doesn't work with FTP for me sometimes...the minbet above the betsize thing will flicker and it will lag

I have problems posting using FF. Sometimes after hitting "submit reply", it stands still on "waiting for forumserver...". Deleting cookies used to work, but just now it didn't. In IETab there are no problems.

Right now it seems to work again.

threads take a long time to actually finish loading.

"quick reply" seems fine however, so I'm using that a lot more often for now.

i have a couple odd requests.

i'm looking for a hand history menu for FTP that is similar to stars. I dislike the hand replayer FTP has and I have no idea why people prefer it. How are you supposed to find the results of a hand if you're 10 tabling stacked? Remember the table and click through till u find the hand? I've tested HHviewer-v2.ahk and it didn't do what i wanted.

Also, speaking of the Last Hand History window on FTP... the player's cards show up fine, but the cards on the board are scrambled bits and pieces of other cards. Makes it unreadable. I assume this is from my theme, cards, or me fiddling with the preferences.ini file.

Help?

hole cards are displayed from cards0.png

board cards come from cards3.png (700x420).

The file needs to be the proper dimensions, and the preferences.ini can not edit the cards 3 portion of the code, if you want that HH replayer to work.

Well, Quick Reply doesn't work either.

Edit: Actually, it did just now. Right after I posted a reply with IE. Editing did not work in FF, though.

When I try to import my hands on poker tracker, the import starts, but soon a red message comes up that reads "2008/08/10 18:16:59: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?"

Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks.
