It might require Urgent Table also, to make sure which table is active. Probably want Stars Planner as well. I think PokerPad can do most/all of what OP is asking, but I have never used it.

Granted I don't play 24, "just" 12.

Here's my setup:

BetPot
StarsPlanner
StarsAssistant
StarsAutoReloader
RTHUD

edited to add: I tried this setup with as many as 18 and it still worked flaw free, no timing out. I just turned into such a nit that playing was bascially for FPPs only...

It works extremely well. I just lack an ahk for not sucking at poker.

Urgent Table 0.75 should be on that list. It snaps the cursor to just above the bet buttons of the active table, and hi-lights it. I edited Urgent Table 0.1 to not snap the cursor, so it will highlight active table, and click timebank if needed, without moving my cursor when I am trying to multi-task.

Some one please toss a grenade into this forum, and destroy it. Everytime I browse the main index it's like insta-tilt.

If I had any tiny bit of skill with Flash, I'd be making a 2p2 specific version with "OMG should I fold KK preflop?" and "is it rigged?" etc...

Just use this instead, for now. Props to Lateski for making this masterpiece.

Two relatively easy questions regarding HH databases:

1) What's the best way to transfer a big database from one place to another? Is the export HHs to file option in PT the best method? If there's some file that contains my full PT2 SQL db can I import that directly into HE Manager or PT3?

2) My new laptop has two hard drives. How can I set it so that PT3 and HE Manager save my databases to my 2nd HD?

1- I would recommend exporting all PT2 HH's, for multiple reasons. It is definitely the best way to get the HH's into HM, and is probably the best way to import them to PT3 at this point as well. You also want these HH's, so you can compress (RAR) them, and back them up as an Archive.

I have all my hands from pre-2k8 compressed/archived - on DVDr, on Mediafire, on my personal server, as well as on 2 different redundant sync thumbs. I also export all my 2k8 hands every couple weeks, and update my online backups and thumbs.

2- You want to make sure that you install SQL to your 2nd HD, so all your SQL DB's will be stored on the slave, away from your OS. I have 1 HD, that I partitioned myself. My SQL and DB's are stored on a partition, and I make sure my "Move Processed HH's" are set to save to a folder I created on that partition.

I had a crash a couple weeks ago, and my SQL DB was on my C\ drive. I lost it all in the reformat. Luckily my Archives + my Processed HH's on my D\ drive, all survived the reformat. It was a simple matter to install HM, then install SQL on the D\ - and import all my archived/processed HH's. Pretty sure I didnt lose a single HH from my DB.

The only other thing that may have been good for me to do, would be to install HM on my D\ drive also. It would have saved me from needing to get a new reg key to import my archives.

50NL just now, was rolled for 100nl but cashed out to buy a new computer + monitors.

Brilliant! didn't realise that betpot could do this.

*off to find the line to setup the fold button*

Never heard of PokerPad before, will look it up.

I had Stars Planner but it is no longer working. It loads up and can be seen in the task bar, but the window does not appear on the screen.

Look for the Green "H" in your System Tray for Stars Planner, and Right Click + Reset GUI Position to Restore the GUI to your screen.

I created a separate thread before I saw this one...

I need to move all my PT2 data to my new computer. PT2 is already installed on the new one, and both are running XP.

How do I do this?

Is your PT2 DB - Access or PostgreSQL? Regardless of your answer, and method you end up using - I suggest you make sure and export all HH's from your original PT2 database for a Backup which you can then compress/archive in case you ever need them again.

Access DB's can be moved, quite easily I believe - they are located inside of the C\Program Files\Poker Tracker\ folder. SQL DB's can be backed up and restored, using PGAdmin. I am sure there is probably documentation/threads on the PT Forums documenting the process.

Have you tried using PT3 beta yet? Might be a good time to check it out.

I don't know what kind of DB it is. I haven't done very much with PT...

What I have is called "My First Pokertracker DB".

If it's in the PT folder in program files, which file is it (there's a ton of stuff in there), and how do I import it into PT on the new PC?

You should really be reading about this on the PT forums, and asking questions there. They have complete documentation on how to do this. You are not the first one to do this.

http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/PTH/docs/#Backup

I am continually amazed at all the people that post questions here, instead of going to the developers site/forums for the proper documentation. If I have an issue with my Gateway monitor, I am not gonna ask about it at these forums in Computer Technical Help. I am gonna go to the Gateways site/forums and ask the experts. Then if I dont find what I am looking for, or get a reply fast enough, I might start looking to other monitor/hardware forums.

Wow, fantastic! Thank you very much.

Before I posted here, I went to the pokertracker site, searched the forums there, searched google with various keyword combinations, but could only come up with a link (supposedly telling how to do this) which is dead as it gets re-routed to the new site.

I did not find/know there was documentation for the (now) older version of PT on the new PT site.

I was doing advanced searches in google trying to find something, using the cache feature to view the now defunct original pokertracker.com site/forums.

Maybe I'm just dumb...

Anyway, thanks a lot, I really appreciate the help.

No worries. I think that them moving the PT2 forums/documentation to PT3 has really hampered the Google returns for PT2 searches. I happened to know, from browsing these forums, where the documentation was for PT2, on the PT3 site.

I think it should be labeled a bit better on their site also. Something like "Existing Poker Tracker 2 Documentation HERE". Instead its just a plain side link that says PokerTracker Holdem - doesnt even mention V2, or Current Version.

Whatever you assigned when setting it up. It doesn't assign one automatically like PT3 does. Neither does PT2. The step-by-step instructions that PT2 used to show u how to install SQL - suggest the default password of "postgrespass".

This is the same password I assigned when i recently re-installed SQL on to my D\ partition. I don't know if Roy's step-by-step SQL install instructions suggest a password. I just used the same password I was familiar with from my PT2 DB.
