It's easier to remember to update occasionally, if you have 2 shortcuts on your desktop, imo.

Im trying to use the no images theme but its quite annoying how the cards cover my chips and I have to look at the top left to see how much is in my stack... can anyone recommend me a theme that has no images but will also display the stack size on my "seat box"?

That is not possible. There is only one no images base theme to build a custom one on.

The only real option is to do something like _dave_ did for his theme once upon a time. He made very small, semi-transparent circles to take the place of the avatar circles (border/borderb), and turned off avatar images. I think this looks a bit odd, when the action text is flashing, but it would give you the results you want with a somewhat similar look. No avatars, and more room for HUD.

I had such a struggle finding this theme a long time ago but eventually got hold of it.

Luckily i still use it and have it backed up on a few computers

are using BetPot, TableNinja, or equivalent software?

if not some nice no image mods can be made from the Slick Theme and the cards do not cover the stack - unfortunately they are not compatible with BetPot, etc, - seems to work fine with HoldEm Manager though




the only other option that comes to mind are playing with short decks like this one

I would be using HEM and tableninja or pokershortcuts.... does that mean the slick mod wont work? =/

The short deck looks good my own cards but the community cards might be hard to see when im 24 tabling

Poker ShortCuts has a custom theme capability, but I am not sure if nanochip made it able to work with a slick or black base. He has documentation about configuring for custom themes. It basically amounts to 6 hours of making little screen shots.

Ugh...having some really basic problems with XThemes. I have the same problem a couple of ppl said they had at the start of the thread, themes only showing as the default theme. For a couple of them, they just had an invalid folder structure, like an extra XThemes folder inside the first. I don't see any such problem. (Running Vista 64bit)

I removed all my own samples, and have 3 of everlongs. I have:
