Hi, I would like to use the player labels from the slick theme in nova / mercury.

I mean the box that contains the player name and avatar :



I have tried to copy and paste the images into the mercury folder and have attempted to mess around with the gx.ini to make the names etc line up, but it still looks a garbled mess.

Can any of the modders give me some tips on how to make the images / names and stacks overlap correctly in Mercury

Is there any way to remove the PokerStars watermark on the table felt?

Pokerstars folder > Gx > label > delete tlg-w

Start from Pokerstars.exe or it'll update and replace the file.

Any of you wizards able to locate the default Pokertstars avatar file or maybe crop it for me? I'm talking about the standard grey/blank Pokerstars logo avatar everyone gets when they first register. Stars has done me over by having my linked Full Tilt account's avatar as my Pokertstars avatar and want to try out default avatar as a GTO strategy. Thx.

Is there a way I can increase the font size of the bounty amount of all players at the table? Is there any custom theme with this feature?

I am trying to create a custom table/theme, and am currently using the theme integration guide.

Here it says the following:
"II.3.From the Gx client folder (C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Gx) or folder containing the theme off of which you are basing your new theme (see Appendix A.1 for more detailed explanation), copy the following files into the NEWTHEME-1 folder:
a) bg.bmp
b) fg.bmp and fg.a.bmp
c) the entire folder “label”
Note that all these items are optional."

In my gx-folder and in my /themes, i only have bg.jpg, bg.png and fb.jpg, not .bmp. I also cant find any files names fg.a, only fg (and fg-on, fg-border).
So where can I find these .bmp and .a.bmp files?

Also, what is the folder name in pokerstars/themes of the original Mercury theme? I have Mercury installed, but it doesnt show in my themes folder.

I found the "foldername" for Mercury (nova.P7), but now I have another issue. How can I change the chips in my custom xthemes, without changing the original chips in \gx?

I have tried to paste my chips&deck folder into my custom xthemes folder, hoping that it would overwrite/take priority over the original chips, but the chips doesnt change.

Hi all. Any way to remove the little bottom border in the Nova theme so that the table background fills the entire screen? Driving me mental and I really like the Nova theme... Is it possible maybe to use the background image to fill that border section so it looks flush?

Remove the border (make it transparent) in the fgx-border.png file

I restarted with Pokerstars.exe and it is applied now. Can I now use the standard desktop start tool or do I always have to use the .exe to start?

If you made the changes in your \xthemes folder, you can use you desktop start tool. If you changed anything in the \themes or \gx folder, you will need to right click PokerStars.exe in your pokerstars folder, and either pin to start, or create new shortcut->desktop.

I don't seem to have the "\xthemes" folder, only \themes and \gx?

xthemes is a folder you create if you are gonna make your own themes. If you just modify a base theme in \themes, you have to open pokerstars via the pokerstars.exe file, so that your custom changes dont get "updated" back to the original settings.

Oh okay! Very new to modding. Do I just copy everything from the themes folder into the new folder and call it "xthemes" and then make the changes yeah?

Quick review of tedd_E_KGB's FTP clone - Easy to use website, easy to use installer, takes you back to the glory days of FTP.
Support really helpful too, even sent me back the original Stars cards files to customize the deck. Would def recommend, $15 well spent.

Guys today when I opened the pokerstars software suddenly the table theme was changed to default and when I tried to install the Hyper simple theme again it said "these theme is not installed on your computer. Press the install button if you want to install it".
I cant install any table theme now.

The new hand strenght pokerstars feature annoy me, any one could give me a hand to delete it?

This is my new flat theme. I did it for myself, so it's set up for 6max-8max and 9 max NL holdem only, but I can probably mod for other games as well. Also, probably not a big deal, but I am using a slightly older client version so I don't know if there's any changes on the new clients that will impact it, but that's also fixable. Pm me if interested.

Hi, I just bought the Focus PS theme from PKRART and having problems with it. The deck and chips seem to have installed okay but not the backgrounds and pods and stuff.

After install, run PokerStars [without update] { icon on desktop } and select Focus Theme
