Can anyone tell me a quick way that I can change the placement of the chip text for bottom player in Nova layout(preferably move over to the right or left to make sure it doesn't cover my cards):

I increased the font sizes and as you can see the bet amount overlaps with the pot amount.

I think this setting should be optimal for that:

bet=352,309 354,150

they should be on a hard-drive somewhere, I can have a peek and then convert them to PNG. Seems we never put up a page up @pokermods.eu for them.

Hoping for a bit of advice for this problem:

I've been trying to alter the "view lobby" and "leave table" buttons in hypersimple. After reading through this thread I've managed to edit the ini file and decided to get rid of the leave table button altogether.

I've managed to change the view lobby to a much smaller button, albeit I can't get rid of a bit of writing that goes on top of it. What I'm having real trouble with is getting the box to actually move.

The default is
"leave_table=675,-4
view_lobby=675,27"

But whatever I change these co-ordinates to, the box just doesn't move. What am I doing wrong??

you'll have to post this as a request in the pokerstars software improvement thread; it has been asked for before: they said iirc it's been added to the list of possible changes to the software.

you cannot do it via theme modding.
what you can do is run a variety of backgrounds / table felts and set up stars to change felt/background by right-clicking the table. then just make the adjustment when that tournament table opens.

How do I make Nova use the seats from "Stars" theme while eliminating the avatars and the avatar circles? I successfully copypasted the seats and got rid of the avatar circles, but the seat positioning turns out very awkward. When I open the GX.ini of Nova, all I see is a weird chain of funky marks like |¬.&O5N´|l¬Û*‰dOLú;üüû*UÂI½±oþÀÎqe¼(. Is that normal? If so/if not, how do I fix the seating?

there's a program on google code called table crab that should allow you to decode the gx.ini file.

As yet there is no single, definitive guide to the gx.ini just a whole bunch of post on poker forums. this thread and some threads over at pokerstrategy would be your best bet.

So what would be the most practical way of editing the seats of Nova? All I really want is to remove the seats and avatars, and replace the seat itself with the seat similar to the one from the "Stars" theme. The avatar boxes I've successfully wiped out already, but the seat positioning becomes very awkward.
