the tan version looks pretty sweet on those dark tables. Much nicer than they looked in the standalone shots

What's this about a new theme from Stars? It's your FTP clone right?

@gzer: Thanks for the link, missed that one.. registred last week on TB. (maybe instead of searching for custom made themes it's better to drop a phew cents and buy a pretty one, so I can start playing . Every nice theme I have seen is payware, and I am beginning to understand why. The effort to make a theme is humongous. Yesterday at 1700 I downloaded a Theme Modder and went to bed at 0400.. But I guess you guys know what I mean..

Your carddeck was the first thing I downloaded, but I am having difficculties to let it show up in PS. I think I like the colored deck over the white one, but haven't seen it 'live'. I made a folder. ...\xThemes\<Theme>\cards&decks\decks\simple and dropped the zip there, so the xThemes folder will overrule the gx\cards&decks\decks folder, correct ?

Or must I unzip in ...\gx\cards&decks\decks\ ?

PS. TMN stands for Theme Modding n00b, so please be gentle with me

Yeah, you can either delete the whole 'default' folder in the above path and then extract the archive , or just extract it there and overwrite the files.

I was using that deck (with those royals in your picture, liked it very much) until I found new royals and made a new deck (uploaded above, BringItOn deck) which I love even more

I don't know about the white versions of those decks , I don't like them for some reason. They are too bright for my eyes and distracting. I'm not going to do white versions of previous decks for sure, but this latest one I might do, maybe today who knows, when I feel good enough to do that task.

I am searching the net trying to learn how to edit the gx.ini file. I am having trouble finding a readme, which explains the lines in the ini file.

For instance if the line is "button5=470,512 597,512 724,512 597,448 724,448" how do I now what the numbers are for ? I read something about axis and position, but I just don't get it.. Can someone help me out and point me in the right direction ? TIA

Exactly! This is the location of the button as it would appear on your screen once you open a table window. Those numbers are pixels. So the location of your first button in this case will be at 470 pixels horizontal and 512 pixels vertical.

Thanks for the quick reply! Your answer confused me even more I thought buttons are the muck, bet, fold posiotions.. But if button5 is let's say the muck option, then why are there 5 positions ?

You know what, I am going to start with page 1 and stop modding until I have read the entire topic. If I still don't get it, I'll come back and stalk with questions

Hey I've got the Esoteric theme from Tiltbuster.
There was a new pokerstars update Today and now my table theme doesn't work anymore.
I tried to reinstall it but i just can't get it to work.
The Esoteric theme is available under "View=> Table themes" but after applying i'm always getting the Stars classic theme.
Can anyone help me out here?

Did nothing differentlly than the first time, I can also see the esoteric mode under "table themes", but if i try to install/apply it, I'll always get the classic theme.

DeepFreeze has gone missing for about a month and a half now. The last time I talked to him, he sounded suicidal - so I have no idea about his current status.

Just seems odd that I can download it and run it fine. and I've not received any other message (yet) of any problems with it. Usually when there is a problem, I get 20+ emails waiting for me when I get home. Is there any other information you can provide that might help sort it out?


4.860 was did not change any editing capabilities of the client that I've been able to detect - so yes, you can decrypt-edit-encrypt without any problems - at least (like everything else) i can on my computers.


Edit: also, 4.860 has been out for a few days now

Btw I want to get Mighty Mouse. I like sitting at the bottom when playing HU. But I want to be able to edit the ini file. The reason is that I don't use a HUD and want a larger table. So I need to be able to move the seats. The theme majorly cool.

no, I didn't get that error.
But I got an error as i tried to start the stars client "client failed to initialise, please contact pokerstars support." ( similar to http://tiltbuster.com/index.php?PHPS...3&topic=1184.0)
I uninstalled/reinstalled the stars client and made the installation of the esoteric theme, this is how it looks in my table theme manager....

If i try to "apply", i'm getting the standard classic theme...

try this

go into \..\PokerStars\XThemes\tn.noimage.tiltbuster\
and delete the Esoteric folder.

If you haven't done so recently, download a fresh copy of the installer from your account - and reinstall the mod.

You may have a sour gx.ini file

if that fails, PM me and we'll get it sorted.

Hey guys n skirts. lol. I'm brand new to this message board/thread and joined first and foremost so i could track down Fozzy/Bar Nuthin. Guys, last August I placed a few pretty meaty orders over at www.fozzypokermods.com which is now defunct. After doing some investigative work reading up on this thread to find out what became of the domain, I learned that you two masterminds have joined forces and started www.tiltbuster.com together. The bad news for me is that when i paid the site a visit last night, I couldn't find for sale any of the original mods that I purchased not even a year ago. I was hoping to get a store credit or something since I don't see any of the decks/themes I purchased last time, but I imagine you have backup copies of these saved up. I was able to find the order form in an old email that shows what was purchased in one of the transactions but not the other. Also, I was hoping you could be flexible and allow me to substitute the FTP thems/decks I bought for Pokerstars mods, since I will only be playing home games/poker clubs and just want a sweet setup for my friends to be able to enjoy. Now that FTP/Pokerstars have been seized by the DOJ I will no longer be using the FTP software and am only staying with Pokerstars because of their "home games" service. thanks guys. let me know what you can do to help.
