I can't seem to download this package, tried for two days, is the link ok. Also, do you have these as straight images, not Pokerstars style, say for FTP etc?

I have a copy of his ANO2 that I downloaded. It only has the blue table, in a single theme.

How would I go about taking away the "your chips" in the top left corner when you are playing and also making at least one default seat at the table all black so I can't see my chips?

That is a No Images Theme.

You cant actually remove the text that is displayed in the upper left. That is controlled by the encrypted gx.ini file.

You dont want to see your stack size when the hole cards cover your stack size?

When I first made a no images theme, and used a black background, like above, the dext almost completelyy disappears in teh black background image. I have since started adding a gray tab in the upper left, so that you CAN see tha HH#'s and player stack size. The gray is actually still not sufficient, and I am working on some other colors for the corner tab.

Yep - AFAIK, you can not edit any of the Stars Text now that they encrypted the gx.ini

I'm running PStars Beta on a Mac and was trying to figure out if I can use the mod themes or make my own? The EXE files and instructions on the PStars site make it look like it's a PC only thing?

The Mac I am using is an older G4 PowerBook. It has a lot of RAM but I don't think BootCamp or Parallels would be an option. For now, I'd rather not play poker on my main Mac. I just upgraded to Leopard and want to keep it stable for work.

*Disclaimer - I have never used a MAC.

I know people were able to use my FTP Mods on the MAC client for ftp. They had to be installed manually, by extracting the files from the installer first. Then copy/paste into the ftp client on the mac.

The themes on the PC stars client, also require some code inserted into the .INI file so the client will recognize the theme. I would assume this could be done manually as well, if the basic structure/function of the mac client is the same.

I suggest you send a PM to Bar Nuthin. His site is psthemes.com, and his user name is the same there as here. He may know the answer to this already.

Let us know how it goes. I would be glad to try and help, if possible, via IM perhaps. I am clueless about Mac's tho, so would have to see some screenshots of the program files/folders at least, or even do some desktop sharing, so I can help you try and get a theme working. It is quite simple on a PC, so if the basic file/folder structure is the same, hopefully it wont be too hard on a Mac then.

I am curious to know how it goes, and if its possible. There will certainly be more people asking in the future, and it would be nice if I knew how to help them use my themes.

I don't speak alien, so I'm lost here.

i spoke with a friend of mine who is on pokerstars support staff, and he said that Mac does not currently support 3rd party themes. But that it likely will in the near future.

Thanks for checking on that. I have been digging around in my files and can't find anything unless I use the PC version on parallels. Trying to make a theme for my dad (he is on PC) and it's been an adventure.

There is a way you can change your themes, although it won't be exactly like it was intended to look like. Go to the folder of one of the existing themes that you don't care for, and replace everything in that folder with the files in the theme you download. I was able to do this with the marine theme and I replaced the files/folders with that of one of the black ones I downloaded. Then I changed my theme to 'Marine'. I now I have a black backround, black table, ect, the only thing is the table still has that seashell look, but since it's black it doesn't stand out. I like it much better than what I had before.

I am offended by the accusation. My packages are self-extracting archives created by Paquet Builder. They contain ONLY image files: BMP and .A.BMP alpha-masks, and JPEG's.

The packages (EXES) can be extracted using WINRAR or WINZIP. They can be scanned with any AV program as well.

Please think before making accusations, next time.

Yes i'm verry sorry but just make a new install of windows and after install your themes i see a suspicious processus on my computer so i was thinking that it was your executable but none.
