You are probably assembling the card folders/images wrong in the \simple\ folder.

He simply posted all the individual images that you could use to make a card mod, using the original stars font/pips/folder stucture.

I made a complete card mod, including all of the associated original files and folders. I made all new images, text, etc.

I am actually in the process of making installer files (.exe) for my Stars Card Mod's. I am also going to be converting a few more of my FTP decks for use at Stars. Once I am satisfied with the installer package I will post it for this same deck I have been giving away.


If you have any problems getting my card mod to work let me know.

As far as making those other cardbase images work, you would have to ask the person that made them. I never tried using those images he made

I still dont really understand your question very well. You arent explaining yourself very clearly. There are associated Alpha-Channel Mask files which may be affecting things. It sounds like you want my cards? If so download the latest link in this thread, just a few posts above.

Or better yet - here use this Installer. It isnt completely finished, but it works fully. I have tested it, and had another 2+2'er test it. This is the same 5.4-DFG-Betpot deck from a few posts above.

yours are working great, but i want to use the others. That cards are the exactly the same to yours, but when i replace them, stars shows me just the font on the table, no cardbase.
How do i bring it to work?

I think they look awful. They were poorly made copies of a pretty nice card. They did not turn out nearly as good as the original authors work.

take a look at the file size, if they are not an exact match, stars will not recognize them

ok well idk what im doing wrong but i extracted the file to my Xthemes folder which is inside my normal Themes folder. Ive put that text inside the xthemes.ini file but none of the themes are showing up as choices for themes...

xthemes should be parallel to themes, not inside it, I believe.

Started tryin to learn how to make my own Themes pack. I got a ways to go before its ready for Prime-Time.

This is nothing more than me hacking one of Everlong's Themes. It is the HR (HoldemReview) mod in Everlongs XThemes2(?) package. I simply replaced a plain black background, and 3 different Stars table shapes.

I bought the 5.4 yellow deck and it's great. One thing I'd recommend is blacking out the cardsuit file. In your screengrabs I noticed it is blacked out but it wasnt in the file I downloaded. The card ranks overlap with the font on certain cards (K and Q) and are obv unnecessary w/ the card background. I had no problem fixing it myself, but others might not know how.

I am still a bit green at putting these decks together, and building the installer. It is a bit more complicated than the FT versions. i will obviously make sure to get you an updated version.

OK guys, I've done some work on my set up and here is what it looks like:







Again, I am actually a total mod donk. The stuff I did was really easy and could definitely be done better by people who know what they're doing.

Here is a list of the things I changed:

-table felt is a darker grey
-PokerStars logo removed from the table
-player avatars darkened from light grey to shiny black
-flashing thing that shows you whose turn it is (eloquent, I know) made red instead of blue
-player note marker made brightish orange instead of blue

The cards are Fozzy's 5.4 yellow deck.

I can post these things if anyone wants them.

Episteme: does your mod work with the Bet Pot script?

It "should" as long as he didnt mod the slider parts, i believe. Mine in the above screen seems to work fine with BP.
