The graphics are already included in the latest PokerStars updates and should be implemented in the software in the near future.

I guess The russians thought they needed some early exposure.

that and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

I had just re-released my Uno Cardback freebie to incorporate the 'Quasar' cardbacks to bring my cardbacks up to 18...but then i thought it might possibly be seen as breaching some GPL as the Uno deck may eventually become a commercial deck

Bar's cardbacks are pretty slick

Hey folks,

I'm trying to get Stack and Tile to work with the Hypersimple theme. This is what Greg Nice said needs to be done:

I've not used Stack and Tile so I'm not sure which part of the button needs to be a different color. But you could try going to \PokerStars\Themes\ordinary\ctrls and delete (rename), cb.a.bmp and cb.bmp. You'll then have white checkboxes. If you need the longer bar of the advance buttons to be a different color then delete (rename) advbet-button.png.

Thanks Bar and sorry they don't respect you enough to hold back. I like the new deck a lot, but will just wait for the official release by you and Stars. Sorry for giving them exposure.

i've renamed advbet-button.png to advbet-button.png.bak and restarted Stars and it looks like it will work,i guess it is now using the Classic theme for those buttons

When I delete or rename those files, it forces me to update and it just replaces them. It even does this when I simply edit it in paint to a different color. Halp?

Most (all?) mods require you to run PokerStars.exe rather than PokerStarsUpdate.exe. PokerStarsUpdate.exe will check to see if those files are the same as when they were installed. If they are not it will update (replace) them. PokerStars.exe just runs the client without doing the update.

Okay, quick snip & clip and cardbacks updated

you will not have access to the last 6 cardbacks until the client runs full 18 cardbacks...i.e. they're spacer cards.

If you want to cut the files up to re-order w/e you can do so.

Obv, as usual, usage license for personal use and non-distribution.

I see some people have got the new decks on Stars through a new update of the client have which i haven't.

I've been using the new cardbacks too but you have to modify back.png, not supposed to work yet.
