I feel we must start a revolution for poker tools such as combonator, flopzilla, piosolver, pokerstove, etc to be made compatible on macs. Can some genius please ****ing answer the needs of desperate mac users so we/i dont have to go cash out 3-400 on a new windows computer that i will never use except for poker study.

i dont wanna hear no **** about how i should of known this buying a mac cause guess what? i ****ing didnt.

Maybe we can get a bunch a people to hit this thread and send it over to the creators and see if they will put in some effort for a mac version

If not, any one know anything other then pokercruncher for mac?

Is PokerTracker not Mac-compatible? I swear I used it back in the day, but maybe I was on my Dell by then. Just based on a search, I see something called Poker Copilot is also Mac-compatible. Haven't looked further, though -- sometimes that just means you need to install Parallels or VMWare or similar.

I'd say you headed this one off at the pass. Unfortunately, that's probably the most common response to this.

Would be easier for you to run a windows emulator than for programmers to bother. Look into it, it's easier than you think.

I can't understand why there isn't tons of web software for stuff like pokerstove and at leaste these easier programs? That should work on both windows and Mac and everywhere else like in phones and stuff.

Regardless of the relentless bitching about Mac vs. PC and the workaround options such as emulators, it would be very interesting to make a list of tools available on Mac

Agreed, so I start.

PokerTracker 4
Only working properly with PokerStars on Mac for me. No support at all for Unibet or fast forward tables of Partypoker which are the other two Mac compatible clients I am playing on. On regular tables you can get session stats tho.

The links are not working from my end. Perhaps the emulators have stopped providing support or shut down their project. However, found this one working.

Pokertracker
Pokerstars
Bettersnaptool

That should solved almost every issue you might have on a mac.

I just did a "looking for feedback launch" of http://www.premiumpokertools.com/. Check it out! It's a free website so it doesn't matter what type of machine you're on

I agree with the points about poker software generally not supporting Mac users. I have no clue why it is, and am very curious what's going on. From a technical POV, I do web development and don't know much about whether it's easier to develop desktop apps for Windows versus Mac. I doubt it.

My guess is that it is simply because more users are on Windows machines. Wikipedia says that 80+% of users are on Windows.

I may be wrong as I haven't used it, only looked at it, but PokerCruncher Advanced is supposed to be pretty decent and on par with Flopzilla/Combonator and at $40 I don't think it's expensive.

Flopzilla / Combonator doesn't work on Mac! Their price 35 and 40 $ PokerCruncher Advanced is 40,and in my country for some reason even 50.
I'm not imposing my opinion. I tried it once and I didn't really like it.
My post is for information only and not to to offend anyone. I hope it will help someone

Hello,

(Disclosure: I'm the developer of PokerCruncher.)

I hardly ever post outside of the 2p2 PokerCruncher support threads, because I want to be non-intrusive, but I think there are some incorrect facts here about PokerCruncher and I felt the need to clear them up.

... and earlier ... :
PokerCruncher ( http://www.pokercruncher.com ) (but I think it's very expensive and outdated.)
1) You're confusing the Advanced and Expert versions of this app. On Mac it's the "Expert" version ($40 USD currently); this version is more powerful than the iPhone, iPad, and Android "Advanced" versions.

2) Re. it being $50 in your country, what's your country? The reason is currency exchange rates (note the $40 current price is in U.S. dollars), and some countries put extra taxes and fees and possibly tariffs on top (it's complicated and fluid). And price rounding happens, and it's usually up-rounding to the next good-sounding price up. The exact pricing around the world is determined by the app store and they update prices periodically. We/I (PokerCruncher) set one price, $40 USD currently, and Apple translates this price around the world using many factors.

3) Re. "but I think it's very expensive" -
As numberonedonk already said the $40 USD current pricing for the Expert version is on par with other similarly powerful desktop programs in this space. Even if the price were $10 higher, it's in the same ballpark, and your wording "very expensive" seems inaccurate.

4) This is a very fair statement, can't argue with that.

But I'm not really sure what you tried because earlier you were confused between the Advanced and Expert versions.

But I can't argue with the above; every person has a right to an opinion and viewpoint. So I'll say you're fully right here.

However if you can let me/us know what you didn't like about PokerCruncher, that may help me improve the program going forward.

I'm just glad many other people do like this program, e.g. some pros and coaches are now using the PokerCruncher Expert version in their videos and training material.

Regards,
-RJ

Hi guys,

My iHoldemindicator is not working for weeks/months now.

I contacted them multiple times, and their last mail was very insulting:
"We'll fix the problem in a few days. But since you're so unreasonable, we'll disable your license permanently. You can never use our software again. Good luck@"

Please don't buy this software, it is a scam. If you have the same problem with this scammer, contact the helpdesk of PokerStars so that they will be removed from the list of permitted tools.

Moreover guys, if anyone wants to start a legal claim, I am in for it. We paid for "Life Time License with unlimited time of usage" and "Never pay again for new version update". It is illegal to disable our license without refunding us.

That almost sound as my situation with Poker Copilot, definitely top 3 worst companies I have dealt with. I REALLY regret getting it and not buying PT4 from the start.

What versions of Mac o/s does PokerCruncher support? I was using iHoldemIndicator and liked it well enough on Ignition, but it is not working on latest versions of Mac O/S. I emailed them and they did respond quickly but they indicated they don't have a fix yet.

PokerCruncher-Expert's page in the Mac App Store lists its macOS requirements towards the bottom of the page:

Requires macOS 10.13 or later.
