Hey guys,

I'm currently a Live/Pokermaster player. I can comfortably beat $2/5 Live and on the app Pokermaster. Have had decent success (winning at about 8bb/h live and more on the app however I am still yet to get a HUD on there).

I'm really looking to improve me game in within the next 12-18 months. I know that part of that involves downloading solvers and hours of study. However with so many softwares out there, I'm not sure which one to get, how to use them, etc.

One of my big concerns in using a software is it relies on me giving villan's range when a lot of the time (especially on the app), villan is playing an extremely wide range (40/10 vpip/pfr for example).

I've also heard that running some softwares require a high amount of computing power.

Can anyone who is familiar with these softwares and have used them to study shed some light on the matter please?

Cheers in advance!

This isn’t exactly what you’re asking for, but it will still help your performance on the PokerMaster app if you’re playing on your PC via an emulator. It’s a Table-Ninja type program for PokerMaster but it can also help to highlight those 40/10 players you mention, who will often only *appear* to be fish, but in reality are regs who have “disguised” their stats. There’s a PDF guide you can download that explains in further detail, and you can trial the program to see if you like it.

I'm using https://www.poker-fighter.com which teaches plays against microstakes players, which means wide ranges as you described in your post. Hope that will help you.
