It looks like the chat entry is a standard Windows edit control so changing its color is not possible.

is it silly to believe that mods could affect ftp poker client to turn a "doom switch" on?

sounds silly to say, much less believe it.

Sup guys. It's been some time and I lost my deck. I'd like to have it back, does anyone have it ?

The deck comes with black and yellow spades. Default is yellow, you can use black spades by changing the name of the "spades_black" folder into "spades".

It was basicly made for holdem, but it's fully compatible with omaha and draw games

LINK TO THE DECK: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T3HZLXV0

In the future I might make the same deck but more suited for omaha and draw games...But I'll only make it if ppl request for it. Here's a beta version:

Spoiler:

What I WILL make is a glossy version of the already existing deck...It will sure look fun:

Just PM me if you want to make a donation.

Enjoy!

Ouch, that sucks. FTP decks are a lot of work.

I used to have that exact setup. If I remember correctly, it was the old Leggo setup w/o logo. They uploaded a Leggo table to the new tiltbuster, but I don't even remember having the table they provided.

I could be wrong, but I definitely purchased it from tiltbuster pre BF

I know those are your chips, I use the "King" chips as well. However, it seems this is some kind of "dark version" of them?
Where can one find them?

Or am I mistaken?

I am not sure about the cards/chips but the table theme was mine. I did not update my themes when FTP changed over to SVG files so that is no longer available. The backgrounds and tables would still work without the pods/buttons but $5 is not worth my time to dig thru my archives looking for it and uploading it.

Question:

Is it possible to edit settings so as to change pod/chip/card positioning like one can do with gx.ini on stars? Would it be as easy? Obv. I ve done it on Stars and if I remember correctly, there was that capability in the past.

You can make changes in layout.xml to change pod/chip/card positioning.

Player pods can be positioned by modifying the '<seat_object>' sub-element of a '<seat_group>' element. There are 4 '<seat_group>' elements: one each for HU (id=2), 6-handed (id=6), 8-handed, and 9-handed tables. You can change the 'x' and 'y' attributes of the '<seat_object>' element to position the pod, and the 'dlrdx' and 'dlrdy' attributes to position the dealer button. The position of the bet amount for each seat can be set by changing the 'x' and 'y' attributes of the '<object id="pottext">' element. Bet chips can be positioned by changing the 'x' and 'y' attributes of the '<object id="[cs1|cs2|cs3|cs4">' elements.

There is a little less flexibility in FT player card positioning than PS. In FT the player cards are always "attached" to the top of the pod. You can change the vertical position of player cards by modifying the '<podcardsy>' element, and you can change the horizontal spacing of player cards by modifying the '<podcardsspacing>' element. Community cards can be placed anywhere by modifying the '<board>' element.

Thank you very much, that's great info. I forgot to ask. How about font size and color for various elements, most importantly for player names/action buttons/menu buttons and chat?

Also, I suppose there are different settings for racetrack and classic?

The '<stylegrp>' elements determine font size and color. The 'id' attribute identifies which table element the font applies to.

There is a separate 'layout.xml' file for classic (\Graphics\NewTable\Classic) and racetrack (\Graphics\NewTable\RaceTrack).

Ok, I ve worked on it for a couple of days. Some things that are throwing me off.

1. While I ve moved the seats and dealer button with the trial and error method, I don't understand what those coordinates are meant to represent. Is it the upper corner of the svg file, which is larger than the seat itself?

2. it seems to me that the bet location is off in the unmodded version of FTP. Chips and dealer are often far away from players and you can get confused plus, I think that some times the bet pot text is hidden by other graphic elements which is totally unacceptable.

a. Anywho, it seems to me that the coordinates of the chips are relative to the pod, but I don't understand what the coordinates of the bet text are supposed to represent.

b. Can I change the position of the total pot number? It seems to go directly under the board cards.

3. I would like to have the position of the cards when they are exposed lowered a bit towards the pod. Is this feasible?

I don't know. I've just focused on trial and error as well to position the table elements where they look awesome.

I haven't noticed this but I'll take your word for it

They are relative to the pod as well. Maybe relative in a different way, but again I just go by trial and error.

The position of the pot is set by the '<tablepots>' element. I have only changed the first '<tablepot>' sub-element which is the main pot, I'm assuming the remaining '<tablepot>' sub-elements are for side pots.

This is controlled by the '<podcardsy>' element. Each '<values>' sub-element is for a particular game type (PLO, NLHE, etc). You will have to search the thread to find out which '<values>' sub-element corresponds to your game type. Increasing the values (making them less negative) should lower the cards closer to the pod.
