It was requested that a new thread be started, so I figured since no one was doing it, here ya go.

Go!

EDIT: The old "pre-update" mod thread can still be found here (now locked to reduce confusion).

I think it would be fine (in fact, encouraged) if anyone that has already posted a working mod in one of the many other threads should cross-post here - bearing in mind this is for non-commercial work.

Agreed. That's the point of this thread. I would have gone and gotten them and posted them myself if I thought I should. I figure the authors should decide on whether or not to do so though.

Yeah, hopefully this thread will take off soon.

EDIT: I'm waiting to hear back from _dave_, but perhaps we could move across all the posts related to "post-update mods" from the old FTP mods thread to here and then lock the old thread at the point where the last "pre-update" post was made?

Juk

I made a simple mod that mimics the old one I had. It'd be great if someone could host them for me, I'm having a hard time finding SVG hosting.

I think the original authors should be encouraged to post, especially if they have made updates to prebiously posted mods. Juk, I think your idea is a possibility, but the same questions are going to get asked again (and again!) regardless, so maybe save yourself the time!

does anyone have a quick rundown on what is different for the mods now? It might help to get more people working on the problem if we knew what was changed.

Regards,
+EV

files @ http://drop.io/srw8fi0

racetrack: ftp_racetrack_dark.zip

classic: ftp_classic_dark.zip

cards: ftp_cards.zip

note:

ftp_cards.zip works, but only for 1-4 tables @ 24 inch screen. The problem is when you make your tables too small, the cards get f'd up. I don't know why. I removed them from this file so that when you resize your tables too small, it just uses the old cards.

If anybody wants to mess around with it, ftp_cards_full.zip has the full deck of cards (so also including the resizing error). If you know how to fix it send me a PM and I'll update the entire deck so it works on all table sizes. (see this link for more info on that)

So there's no real benefit to doing this? I added a link at the end of the old thread pointing here and edited the OP of this thread to have a link back to the old one so perhaps that is enough?

Alright here's my "anyhero custom mod." It's pretty simple, very similar to the one I had before the update. I don't have cards or card backs to go with it yet. It looks good with waffles.

Edit: Full Tilt renders my SVG with a little greenish tint at the top part of the table...it doesn't show up in my SVG editor, so I don't know how to fix it. It's a very minor issue.

Made this new backgrund. Works great for black/dark tables especially. I have one but I dont know how to convert it, I saw someone posted a similar kind of table anyway.

Enjoy

So I was thinking...someone should make an idiots guys to modding (or at least where to put said mods, etc.) so that people aren't lost when they get mods and then they have no idea where to put them etc.

I nominate someone else

Hey guys, I'm likely going to be coming out with a bunch of mods for FTP/Stars soon (depends on how motivated I am)

This is my first attempt, and for those of you who like this look,

You can grab it here: www.anthony-lane.com/ftpmodclassic.zip

All the necessary files are in there.

I have 3 decks made for new FTP from ground up. No problems any size tables etc. 3 Decks for 5 to FTP. PM for details and will do special requests.

First (Rounded Arial):

New Backs:

New Backs and desaturated background included with Joker pack too.

All packs have black/yellow spades and T/10 for Tens. Simple self extracting exe just point to your installed FTP directory it will do the rest. Easy as changing decks as clicking new deck file and restarting FTP.

I love your decks but this is the non-commercial (free) thread. Try somewhere else if your decks aren't free.

Which one did you install? To restore the cards to the standard ones, use ftp_standardcards.zip.
