My PokerStars client won't open

Hello
About a day ago my pokerstars client stopped working.
I updated my PokerTracker 4 software to the newest version, closed PokerStars and tried opening the client straight after, but the update window showed briefly then the client shut down. I tried a few more times with the same result. After a quick google search I tried uninstalling PokerStars from my computer and reinstalling a new version downloaded from your website, but the issue remains.
Have any of you had issues like this before, and what can I do to fix this issue?
Benjiih
EDIT: I can still open and log into PokerStars on my macbook pro.

The issue seems to be resolved after a few more uninstalls. I still have no idea what may have caused this though.

Yeh, I uninstalled and re-installed in 'Program Files' rather than 'Program Files (x86)', (Windows 10), seems to of done the trick for now. Thanks for the pointer fellas.

I'm bumping a necro file in case this ever happens to anyone else. I had been having problems with PlayNow (Boss Media) for about 2 months, tech support was predictably useless. What finally worked was installing the program in a different folder. I did as above and put it in Program files instead of x86 and now I can open the program again.
