ITT: My 5k Post - Free Card Mod's for Full Tilt by Fozzy

Let's see how this goes.

I just posted one of these decks for free in the FTP Mods thread the other day. I decided to go one better, and post a few varieties of this deck. No ZIP's, No EXE's, just old school manual copy/paste/rename and free, ldo.

This is 4 versions of my original 5.4 Arial font deck. 2 versions with gray spades, 2 versions with yellow spades.

How to use Card Mod's.

1. Open My Computer to - C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Elements

2. Create Folder called - Originals

3. Move (Cut/Paste) cards0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and cardsmall.png from \elements\ into your new \elements\originals\ folder

4. Go to the wiki page - download your preferred deck - you have to open all 8 images and right click > save image as.. separately. Save the new images to a new folder on your PC (Fozzy-10.0 for ex).

5. Copy/Paste all 8 new images, properly re-named, into the \elements folder.

6. Restart FTP client and make sure the MOD is working.

6.a. If some of your cards show up as blanks, go to FTP Lobby > Options, and change your Four Color Cards setting.

What is the difference between the 2 decks with the gray spade. They look identical to me.

Also, the grey deck is a slight increase in size and the yellow deck are original size. Is that correct? A yellow spade deck with increase size would be nice.

Card backs are the only real difference in any of them, and the yellow spades. I overlooked the fact that the one yellow deck was not oversized. Don't worry, I have more versions of this 5.4 Arial deck, I have some versions that have slightly darker shades. I will post some of those as well.

I am basically making my original 5.4 version, with Arial Font for available free. I will put some free installer versions on Bar Nuthin's site soon, in the members free downloads section. I am in the process of trying to re-create all of my FTP cards from scratch. Most of my FTP decks were made last summer, and I have learned some things that should help me to completely update/improve all of my images, just not the cards. It will be a long process, but hopefully will be worth it when I have all new version 2 images for FTP.

I will continue to update this thread over time, with more of the 5.4 Arial decks, and possibly others later.

I like the decks, I would like to try the yellow spades in oversize. My background is grey and the yellow spades would probably show up better.

Stars and Tilt should just buy the right to use directly those deck and thus make their room 10% better imo.

Thx. Just wait til you see the new stuff I am working on. It should be noticeably improved compared to my decks I made last summer. I have lots of new tricks and ideas to make them more stylish and more crisp. It can be seen somewhat in the decks I made a month or 2 ago.

I am hoping to improve these even more, in the upcoming weeks.

well im going to go ahead and install these but what happens if i mess it up? can i just re-download full tilt and would it be back to normal? also, what happens with system updates?

Yes you can just uninstall/reinstall FTP and it will replace all graphic files,without losing HH's, preferences, etc. You shouldn't be able to "mess it up" as they are Self-Extracting Installers.

Or you can just run this installer - to reinstall the default FTP cards:

DefaultFullTiltDeck.exe

Or you can try one of these modified/oversized FTP decks also:

FTP-XX-2.exe

FTP-XX-3.exe

LOL. No, but I am often surprised by how many MSNL/HSNL players use default images.

If you like the default cards, try one of those oversized versions I made, with bright colored backs.
