Can't Login to PS software but can on PS website...

Hi...
I don't think anyone would hack into my account that has about $12...
but strange thing happened where, I try to login with same exact password I've been using ever since creating my stars ID, and it tells me "NAH, WRONG PASSWORD"
So I contacted support several times but I only get generic reply that tells me to follow certain steps to reset my password.. which I have tried already.
And, why should I reset my password in the first place? I can login to Pokerstars.com without any problem. It just does not work on the software side.
What could be the cause?? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks guys.
