Just an FYI. I haven't tested it yet and will later tonight, but it seems that modding and blocking these files may keep an update from happening. I don't have the new zone stuff in my lobby and have been informed by someone else in the same boat that once they let the client overwrite all the modded files, the update was fine. Moving the mods back after this seems to be fine.

Confirmed. Copy your mods somewhere, take the read only attribute off the ones in the client folders, let the client update, close the client, move your read only files back, restart client.

Now, I have been crashing tonight. Several others have as well, but I don't know if they are using mods or not. My crashes are fairly far apart and only seem to happen when I am interacting with a zone window, just not every time I interact with one. If it was the mods, I would expect the crashes to happen all the time. So I guess we wait and see if those reporting crashes are modding.

I played for quite some time with no problems at all and I have a lot of mods. I did not play zone during this time though.

Would be cool to know when an update comes out so we can take care of it ourselves when it does.

Good to know. I am thinking this is a zone problem

Agreed. Although, I think Ice does a pretty good job of announcing all updates in the bodog network thread. I'd just keep an eye over there I suppose.

Should be pretty easy to write a script to swap the files when you need to for an update. That should alleviate the hassle some, especially if you have a lot of mod files. Or maybe I should look at writing a script to work like the merge swap does. I happen to know that you can swap the files on Bovada at a certain time and have the mods stick. After discovering the read-only trick worked, it seemed unnecessary to write that though.

I, for one, am plenty happy with you sharing the read-only trick! However, if you feel you would like to expand on it, I would be even more plenty happy if you shared that script!

If I stay away from zone, I don't crash.

Ha ha ha.. Yes, My mods were preventing the update from showing it. I had to re-install the software. Mods still don't work on zone, correct?

Mods work fine. After the update, copy your files back over like before. I have been crashing, but I do not think it was mod related. If I play zone by itself, no crash. If I play reg cash by itself, no crash. Play mixed, crash.

Could you please post the deck face file you are using. I have been attempting to add a similar deck to my bovada and haven't been able to get it to line up correctly. I rigged it up a bit to make it look a bit better but it still looks like complete crap compared to yours.

Or if anyone has gotten a deck file that is similar to fit nicely like his does could you post yours.

Hi, does anyone have any waffle card mods for Bovada? That would be really awesome.

Basically, this ->

needs to be rearranged to look like this ->

The 2 through K need to be reversed and the suits need to be inverted. Any graphics wizards out there?

Please help. Thank you very much.
