hey bought the 360 controller for a pc. downloaded joystick to mouse ahk but cant change the script to my settings (im a noob at this stuff). also, i downloaded starshotkeys ahk and i can configure the buttons but am completely lost on configureing the dpad, right analog stick and triggers. ideally, i wanted the right analog stick as a scroll wheel and the triggers as normal buttons. any help greatly appriciated

update: from what i read, i guess you need a pov hat to make a mouse wheel so i guess its best to make my d pad a mouse wheel. problem is i have no clue how to go about doing this. 2nd, my main joystick isnt perfectly centered and i cant calibrate it. i also tried increasing the threshold in the script so you have to move it farther from the center to get any movement but it seemed like it didnt have any affect when i edited it.

update: fixed joystick problems, still need help with povhat to mousewheel and how to make triggers and right joystick function

I just set up a 360 controller the other day. This is what I found to be easiest:

If you don't know the names of all of your controller buns, get joystick test from overcards.com

Download xpadder

You can use xpadder to map your sticks, d-pad, and buttons to your mouse and keyboard keys. It only takes a couple minutes. I use my left analog stick as my mouse and clicking the stick as a left mouse click. It's ****ing sweet.
