Why does ignition software have an "unknown" publisher warning with it? Why does ignition software have an "unknown" publisher warning with it?

So, I tried downloading ignition software for playing on the computer. However, after downloading the file, it is the one and only software from windows that gives a warning that states that the publisher is unknown and download at your own risk (not those exact words, but basically what it states).

Anyone else experience this when downloading this software? Not too keen on installing it with that warning.

On Windows, software has what's called a digital signature.
Its basically a certification expended by someone to validate the publisher.

If a software just isn't signed then the publisher goes as unknown, that's basically the default.

Ignition is a trustworthy casino, though you should make sure you're downloading from the official website
