Transferring Notes Across Skins (Revolution?)

Ok, so I figured out how to transfer notes across Merge skins. i.e. from one skin to another. Now how about doing this on Revolution?
The usefulness of this is obviously if one has been playing at a skin for a while, then swaps to another provider. Losing all those notes is
Surely there is some method to copy the notes?
Any help or advice appreciated!
