Anyway, I have tried doing evrything this thread says but not sure I done everything I was meant to, how do I check that it is working properly?

Interesting... I just request my all time tournament and sng results, and PS sent 2 html files. How can I import this to PT3 in order to automatically populate results? Thanks!

Those files cannot be imported - you need to request the full tournament results which show the finishing positions of all players.

I'm quite getting the job done. When I run the ahk wrong stuff gets pasted into pokerstars request. I canät make total sense of the things posted in this thread. How about a walkthrough for us illiterates?

I run the script and I just get an empty box. No list of tournaments.

Is there a script that will request Tournament Summaries instead of Hand Histories? I am very dissapointed this still hasn't been implemented into Pokertracker3.

That's exactly what this script does.

I gave up trying to get this script to work a while back.

My stats are all wrong on PT3 due to the fact that I have played more than 200 SNG's before manually importing summeries as you can only get the last 200 from stars.

Anyone know if Holdem Manager is this much hassle for tourns?

You can request tournament results from more than 200 tournaments ago, but you need to do it by number, which is what this script does. I haven't used it myself, but I have heard from people who have used it successfully. Please check that you have the latest version of it, and if you still have problems post what they are and the author (or another user) may be able to help you.

Holdem Manager has a huge step up because of this. Having to email or rely on scripts is a PITA.

Ermm... thanks, but I wasn't asking for help trying to install this script. Like I said, I gave up a while back due to it being a head f**k and I have uninstalled everything when I last cleaned out the junk on my laptop. I don't understand why this isn't part of PT3 already!? Just seems like the delelopers/writers have given up or lost interest.

That's what I thought, my mate uses HEM and swears by it but he only plays cash games so cheers for clearing that up. Just a shame I can't afford to buy it right now and also a shame I can't get a refund for Pokertracker.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I find HEM awful for tracking tournament results. It tries to work out the results from the HHs which it does badly and doesn't seem to allow you to import summaries, only manually change the results.
I use PT3 for results tracking and HEM for the HUD (it's great for this) because PT3 performs so so badly once you get over about 12 tables.

+1

I so, so wanted HEM to be the end of the tourney hassle I have with PT3, but it is worse. Table types are usually wrong, and results are inaccurate. I gave up trying and scripts for PT3 and import from email.

Yes PT2 did this automatically, it is built into the program. It is silly that PT3 hasn't incorporated this yet. I'm about to try the script myself, we will see how it goes.

OK so it looks like I got in 88 requests before Pokerstars gave me an error message saying I have exceeded their request limit per hour. So I wait an hour to do 88 more? This is going to take me days.

Come one PT3, is it that hard to convert over from PT2 to PT3? All my data is already in PT2, I just can't get it into PT3.

Sad.

Can't you just import your PT2 db to PT3? I haven't tried it but I'm sure the option is there in PT3.

Yeah I figured that out. If you have PT2 without SQL database then you can just export your your tourney data to a folder, and then have PT3 read that folder. I wish the guy from PT had explained that to me. In the end my results are now in PT3. Not sure if I'll buy it or not yet. I already have PT2 and HEM, Just looking at PT3 again since PT2 support ends in March.

Seriously is there even any consideration to adding this to PT3 or do we need to wait for PT4?

The script has worked for me. With the hourly limits on asking for summaries however, it did take me a couple of days.

Hi, based on your location you play 45 man tourneys (or other multi table tourneys) and unfortunately it is impossible to determine that from the hand history on Stars unless you make the final table.

The summaries should work though and if they don't I'd be happy to look into this for you. I don't want to side track this thread so just email support@holdemmanager.net with sample summaries that are not working along with the hand history files and I'll check but there shouldn't be any problems with importing Stars summaries for these or any other tourneys.

restricts the results to tourneys from PokerStars where no result has yet been entered. It puts the most recent ones (those with the highest tourney_no) on top.
I'm not 100% sure if id_site 100 is always PS, if it does not work do a

Code:
select * from lookup_sites;
and use id found there as id_site.

My son often comes to visit and he is a poker player as well. So consequently I wind up with downloaded files that PT3 reads. If you use the script to bring all tourneys you will get no player stats because you were not involved in the tourney. I edited the SQL to get just your stuff.

Code:
SELECT ths.tourney_no
FROM tourney_holdem_summary ths WHERE
  ((SELECT sum(val_finish)
    FROM
        tourney_holdem_results thr inner join
        player p on
        p.id_player = thr.id_player
    WHERE
        p.player_name = 'PutYourNameHere'
    AND thr.id_tourney = ths.id_tourney) = 0)
    AND ths.id_site in (100)
ORDER BY ths.tourney_no DESC;
EDIT: Also, I am wondering if PS has a limit of automatically generated requests. If there are more than two tourney numbers in the list - PS will only return two files.

Could someone modify this script to ask for a txt file which has tournament numbers in it, like:

1
2
3

etc.

I know pokerstars only allows about 60 tourney request per hour.
