I hope this is the right place for it. I'm running a Samsung NC10 netbook, 1gb RAM with 1.6ghz atom processor. I was trying to do a sweat session and I tried skype for it and I just couldn't play as it was lagging up my computer so much and that was with just 2 tables.

So is it possible to use screen sharing software (and maybe something I can talk to them with) without lagging up my netbook or is it just too puny to run this sort of thing? Is teamviewer the only other alternative and am I likely to face the same issues with it?

Thanks for any help/advice.

Would teamviewer do the trick too? Are these secure to use as well, computer security is obviously an issue.

i believe it's pretty safe maybe you should ask around highstake 2p2ers what they use. for teamviewer there is an option where you have to confirm all the actions you want to allow

i've never had a problem with mikogo, teamviewer, or skype

best of luck

Ok, thanks for the help, i'll try mikogo and logmein.com and see how I get on with those. I get the feeling that when i'm sharing my screen it'll slow down things a bit but hopefully not to the extent of skype where it was just really tilting to use as it was so laggy.
