I hope this question goes here.. I am on a wireless network that blocks the actual poker sites from being viewed, but allows me to play on clients. However, when you start Poker Stars, it checks for updates from the site. Since I cannot access the site here, pokerstars will not start. Is there any way to turn off updates by temporarily modifying files in the C:Program Files folder for stars so that I can access the client without corrupting the program?

SImply create a new shortcut, or modify your current shortcut, to bypass the update. You will need to update manually from time to time. I bypass updates for weeks at a time, so i dont have to install my card mods each time i run stars.

"C:\Program Files\PokerStars\PokerStars.exe"

will run stars, with checking for updates.

I used a custom name/password for my postgres database when I made it with PT3. Is there anyway to found out what they are since I need it to use HEM?

Not sure if it's possible. _dave_ will know if it can be done. If not, you can certainly negate the necessity for a password by editing the config file for SQL.

Nope. Unless you hack yourself. This has nothing to do with your vulnerability to cyber attacks, trojans, virus, keyloggers, etc. Its just for your local PC and it's SQL DB.

I recently had to do this to set up stop loss for HEM and PTO. There are other scripts which require access to your SQL DB and would require you to remove password privileges from your DB.

Hello, I just downloaded my free trial version of Poker Tracker 3 beta 15. This is my first experience with any software like this.

1. The HUD looks like it has the stats over the wrong players or players that are not there. PT3 has my perfered seat listed as seat 5 which I believe is correct, so I was wondering if there is something I can do to correct this.

2. I played on Stars for a bit to experiment and the stats on Stars had me over 150 hands. However PT3 said it just imported about 58 hands and those included some while I was waiting for a table. Is it normal for you to miss over half your hands?

3. I cannot find myself anywhere in PT3. It has a long list of players but I am not in it. I read something about configuring it to search for my hands, but it requires that I be in the list of recorded players and I am not. Is there a reason why it would not find me if I was playing every table I had open?

I've seen software where you mechanically plug in your (or your opponents) VPIP and get a displayed hand range.

Is there such a tool that does it automatically? Take VPIP out of stats in PT and display it in a HUD?

How do I change the HH replayer deck in HEM?

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Images

cards0.png is the current muck cards. I think cards1 - cards9 are going to be options in the HM GUI later. For now simply delete (or rename to cards0-orig.png, etc) and copy/paste/rename one of the other deck images to be cards0.png.


*If the file names appear without the extension (.png) then you have not set windows to 'show known file extensions' so be careful renaming the images. My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View Tab > Show Known File Extensions.

Anyone know if the Stars update breaks BetPot or StarsPlanner? I want to check out the new hh window.
